The Queen and Her King

Prep For The Big Day

I immediately began giggling and looked back down at my clipboard to make notes,

"I think normal water is just fine, thanks for asking"

She giggled and nodded before looking at the water vendor and nodding to them. I noticed Jane glance behind me for a moment and smiling for a second before immediately stopping. I furrowed my brow and giggled,

"What was that weird cycle of facial expressions about?"

I said with a laugh, Jane looked back over to me and looked like she was suppressing a smile. I was just about to turn around to see if she was giggling at something behind me when I was suddenly attacked, attacked by being scooped up into a certain pair of strong arms and picked up off the ground within moments. One arm went under my legs and the other under my back and simply swept me off my feet. I squealed probably a little too loudly in surprise and shot my eyes over to the culprit of the surprise attack, do I even have to say who?

"Surprise bonnie lass~"

Nope, I don't even have to say it, we already knew it was Harry. Who else would sneak up on me just to pick me up into his arms? I should rephrase that, who else would I let do such a thing? No one, absolutely no one else is allowed to sweep me off my feet,

"Hi Har, you spooked me a little!"

I said with a joyful laugh as I put one of my arms around his neck and kept the other one holding my clipboard. He chuckled and resituated a little to lean a bit closer to my face,

"I didn't think I would judging by Jane nearly blowing my cover, I've been sneaking up behind ya for a moment or two"

I subconsciously leaned a little closer to his face too as if magnets are pulling us together,

"Oh gee, I should probably be a little more on my toes huh?"

Harry shrugged and brought me up a little bit so he could press his forehead against mine,

"Well right now there's no need, the only danger yer in is being attacked with kisses~"

Suddenly that's exactly what he did, before I knew it he planting kisses all over my face which just lit me up in blush and giggles, even when I noticed Jane taking pictures of the scene and people staring at us, but gee... I couldn't care less. This is my fairytale, I'm allowed to live it with the man I love. Meanwhile, Jane was chuckling up a storm with her phone out,

"I'll send these to you later Bri! You may just have a new home screen after this!"

Aw Jane, that's one of the reasons she's my best friend. She's just so damn supportive, unlike others *cough* Audrey *cough*. Harry eventually stopped with a grand kiss on the lips that we both simply smiled into before pulling away and Harry gracefully let me down,

"Sorry darlin', it's just every time I see ya I have the urge ta do just that so I just had to"

Harry kept an arm around my waist as I adjusted my glasses a little from being slightly displaced. Jane gave me a quick wave goodbye as she had a few more things to check, I quickly waved back to her as I spoke,

"I most certainly don't mind it I'll tell you that~"

Harry smiled a bit wider and planted another kiss on my forehead before getting back to business,

"How are things goin' over 'ere? I just ran by the medical tents ta check again and everything's going well over there"

I smiled and nodded once before looking back to my clipboard,

"Well after a whole day of prep I think we're just about there actually. All the other tents and such are set up and ready for whatever comes our way tomorrow..."
