After the crown fiasco,I was escorted to the Headmistress's office because apparently I had important guests waiting for me.
On arrival,I nearly facepalmed myself . Seated ahead were my beloved parents looking all high and mighty
"I'll leave you to talk"the headmistress said and soon left with the guards
Pissed was an understatement of what I was currently feeling.
My father then broke the silence
"You are wearing jeans"
"You are wearing a suit"I answered back throwing away all the lessons I learnt from ettiquette class
"Sweetheart I know you are very upset but please just let us explain"my mother spoke
My dad took my silence as an opportunity to speak
"Every... Every heir to the throne has to go through the Nirvana trials in order to prove themselves worthy of the throne. I know I acted like a really horrible and uncultured brute but that...that was part of the test."
"Was abandoning me part of this stupid test. Was hitting me part of the test. Was making me feel like dirt part of your test huh . Was it!"
"I know that this might sound wrong but yes it was part of it all of it"
"Sweety the Nirvana trials is honestly not a joke. It drains one mentally and emotionally. It brings one to their breaking point and only true Kings and Queens manage to pass it"
"If Im correct,Chloe is the firstborn so isn't she supposed to go through this stupid trial"

"Then why ?"
"She ......Chloe couldn't handle the pressure of it all. She failed. Terribly if I may add"My father sighed
"So you dont hate me"
"You mean so much to us dear. That's why I sent you away. I couldn't hurt you anymore and the council wasn't helping at all. We never visited because that would complicate things further"
I sighed. They were telling the truth and my dad looked so guilty.
"Tell us what we can do to fix all this"My mom pleaded
"Cancel the wedding"
"Its already been set and decided"
"I dont want to get married"
"As much as I want to cancel the whole darn thing,I cant dear"my father sighed
"Think of it as this. Your husband is the future Alpha king. He has alot of experience in rulling and your union will bring two relms togrther. You wont have to worry about the workload because he will handle most of it"my mom said
I took a minute to think about it. In one way or another,what she said made sense. I could travel afterwards and both of us would live our lives seperately but to the public eye we would play the part
"You are to meet him in the evening ball that is to be hosted tonight
"I'm exhausted"I sighed taking a seat that just happened to be nearby.
"We understand . We'll give you time to think things through ok?"
"Okay"
