There she is, typing a few words on her laptop instead of studying. Why? Because she doesn't see a point in it anyway. She sits there, doing whatever with nobody to care about her.
Her sister, the closest one to her age, cares only about her look. Her parent, sleeping as usual, they always do that, they always sleep. They never pay attention to what she does, what she has to say, what her dreams are... nothing! They just sleep, and when they're not sleeping, they're playing with the youngest child in the house, their "angel" the one that came from nowhere and made her 2 older sisters' life like hell! She's always right, never the one to blame, because she's the youngest, the weakest, she doesn't take any smacks like her two older sisters when they were her age.
Nobody cares about that girl, nobody ever did... And this is what led her to not caring about herself either... Sometimes, she feels like rebelling, like shouting and screaming her lungs out, but the problems is that she's always been too quiet and her voice doesn't come out anymore unless it's a whisper nobody hears! She wants to spill down all her fury but the only thing that gets out of her is the sound of her fingers typing furiously on the keyboard because that's what she's good at, just typing out her feelings, hiding what she wants to say and transferring her loud screams into words either typed on a computer screen or written with ink on a paper.
She wants to do something that's not like her, she wants to threaten her parents and tell them she's running away with a guy they don't know because he cares about her more than they do but she's so disgustingly annoying that nobody wants her! She knows no guy whatsoever and her only friends are her books living in that dusty bookshelf, the only property she has in the bedroom she shares with two members of a family she doesn't belong to anymore!
Despite the fact that "she's one of the sharpest mind in class" or that "her grades show her intelligence", school means nothing to her anymore, she's not a tool to use, she's not a way to realize others' dreams, she wants to live her life, the life she loves, between the books, reading all day, she wants to learn from the greatest authors how to be a good writer because this is what she loves the most and everyone is stopping her from succeeding in the only dream she's ever had.
Instead of being proud of her, one of the few teenagers that still hold a book nowadays, society is destroying her, calling her a nerd. Her parents use that fact to show off in front of their friends, and her sisters are embarrassed because "she has nothing better to do in her life". But she just wants to be heard! She wants to be able to change someone's life throughout her writings just like the big authors changed hers! But can she even do that when she was taught to believe that she couldn't change a thing about her own life?
