Tyler's POV

We watched the Let Live show from backstage while we warmed up for our show. A.J. was freaking out just like I knew he would.

"Tyler, Michael," A.J. said.

We both looked at him.

"I don't think I can do this." He said.

Before I could say anything, Oliver Sykes walked up to us.

"You guys ready for this?" He said, in his British accent.

A.J. shook his head. "Not really."

"You can do it." Oliver said. "My first show with the guys was a pretty big one. But, I was told I did pretty good for a newbie.

Oliver patted A.J.'s back. "You can do it." He said.

"Thanks Oliver." A.J. said.

He hit Michael and I with a kind smile and walked away.

"He's a nice dude." I said.

"Yeah. He's right. You can do it." Michael said.

I wrapped my arm around A.J.'s neck and messed up his hair.

Jason of Let Live announced that they'll play one last song. After that, we'll be up.

Michael looked at me and smiled. "Here we go." He said.

I hugged him and listened to Let Live's final song.

I took a few deep breaths in an attempt to calm my nerves.

Let Live's song ended and our crew went out to set up the stage for us.

"Five minutes!" Someone yelled.

Michael and I did this thing where we pushed on each other's shoulders and yelled. Some sort of warm up technique we came up with.

Sky, Scout, and Josh came up to us.

"You guys ready?" Sky asked.

"Nervous, but yes." I said.

Michael furrowed his eyebrows and looked around.

"What's wrong?" I said.

"Where's A.J.?" He said. "Wasn't he just over here?"

We looked around.

"Okay, we have five minutes. If he doesn't show in three, we'll worry." Josh said.

We agreed to that, but three minutes passed and we still hadn't seen A.J.

"So, do we panic?" Michael said.

"No, he's around here somewhere." Josh said. "But, maybe we should split up."

We began running around like crazy people, looking for him.

"A.J.!" I yelled.

I got my phone out and called him.

Surprisingly, he answered.

Hello?

"A.J.! Where are you? We have two minutes left!"

Oh, shit.

"What does 'Oh, shit' mean?"

Uh, I'll be there in a second.

Then, he hung up.

I found the guys and told them that A.J. is coming back from wherever he is.

We had under a minute left when A.J. showed up.

"Where the hell were you?" Michael said.

"There's no time to explain, we have to get out there." Scout said.

We huddled up. "Hooligans on three." I said. "One... two... three..."

"Hooligans!" We yelled.

We ran out onto the stage and the fans cheered.

The crowd of hundreds yelled my name. The sight of all the kids is amazing just like everyone said it would be.

I looked over at Michael and he looked just as shocked as me.

I took a second to look at the crowd before I said anything.

"Before we start, I need to ask you all for a favor." I said. "This is our first show as a band and I need your help to make it absolutely unforgettable!"

"So, go fucking crazy!" Michael yelled.

We began to play Princeton Ave. I noticed that a lot of the kids were singing along.

It blows my mind to see that people actually listen to our music and like it. I really thought we would go to every show and get asked who we are. Instead, there are people in the crowd who are singing along. That's greater than anything I could have ever imagined. Not in a million years, not ever.

I never thought I would get to where I am, now.
