'Noona, It is actually pretty.' Jisung compliments showing Meera her recent picture. 

'Thank you. I took it yesterday.' Meera smiles.

'Hey Meera!' Hyu Jin calls out.

'Good morning'  Meera wishes and goes to talk to him.

'I am throwing a small party tonight. You should come.' Hyu Jin informs.

'Why a sudden party. Its not even weekend yet.' Meera asks.

'Well actually, its my birthday.' Hyu Jin says hesitantly.

'Happy Birthday. I am sorry I did not know..' Meera apologizes.

'Hey no problem. Will you come?' Hyu Jin asks thanking.

'Yeah sure, I would not miss my first friends birthday.' Meera assures as Hyu Jin leaves.

Minho sits down from his dance practice as his phone buzzes with a text.

Hyung's Senior's Sister ~ Emergency

Me ~ What now?

Hyung's Senior's Sister ~ What do boys like these days?

Me~ How do I know?

Hyung's Senior's Sister ~ What? Aren't you one?

Me~ I am man not a boy. Don't you see the difference?

Hyung's Senior's Sister~ Its not time for your jokes please. I need a gift.

Me ~ Why do you need a gift?

Hyung's Senior's Sister ~ Its my friends birthday today. He called me for a party.

Me ~ Who friend? Our SHINee intern?

Hyung's Senior's Sister ~ Is your SHINee intern a boy? Hyu Jin.

Me ~ Ah the cafeteria one?

Hyung's Senior's Sister ~ Yes. yes. Now tell me.

Me ~ What would I know. Think for yourself. Don't waste my time texting me for such things.

Minho giggles as he exits the chat window, leaving Meera without an answer. He looks up if she is still online and something catches his eye. He clicks on her profile picture, with a caption below, 'Here lies the greatness of photographer - Mean Roommate, 2020' to which he giggles remembering his own words that he quoted as everyone was complimenting Meera. 

'Was I too mean now? If it was some other guy I would have helped. I don't like that Hyu Jin sticking around her 24/7' Minho thinks as he goes back to the recent conversation.

Meera tries enjoying the party as Hyu Jin disappears to go greet his guests. Since she knew no one around she silently sits in a corner having her snacks. 

Mean Ho shi ~ Hey. Why aren't you home yet?

Me ~ I am still at the party

Mean Ho shi  ~ Its already 8:30, even I am home.

Me ~ You are just back early. 8:30 isn't late.

'Hello Meera. I knew it was you' Se ra says sitting beside Meera. 'Hey, you know Hyu Jin too?' Meera asks surprised. 'Yeah Oppa and I are childhood friends' Se ra informs. 'Waah its finally nice to have someone I know around' Meera smiles. 'Hyu Jin oppa says he is an introvert but he has got many friends' Se ra laughs. 'Yeah he scammed me says it would be a small party' Meera complains. 

'Come lets go dance' Se ra says pulling Meera. 'I have never, no no.' Meera hesitates. 'Its easy come come' Se ra drags her to the dance floor. 

Mean Ho shi ~ Did you just leave me on read?

Mean Ho shi ~ Are you fine ?

'There is a noise complaint from this neighborhood.' a police officer informs as Hyu Jin opens the door.

'Oh its not yet 10pm. Shouldn't they be giving a complaint after that?' Hyu Jin tries to reason out as the music stops.

'No, just turn it off' the police officer requests.

Mean Ho shi (3) missed calls

'Oh my god, he will lock me out tonight.' Meera thinks looking at the phone. 

'Okay we will end it' Hyu Jin replies closing the door.

'Hey I need to leave, is it alright.' Meera says picking her bag.

'I am sorry Meera, I wanted to spend more time with you but could not' Hyu Jin apologizes.

'Hey you are the birthday boy.. You were supposed to be busy.' Meera assures as she waves him goodbye.

As she walks down, she finds a familiar car, suspicious she calls Minho. 

'Is that you?' Meera asks as Minho picks the call.

'Yeah' Minho replies sternly.

Meera runs to the car and sits in.

'Why did you not pick up?. I had to send police.' Minho fumes.

'Was it your doing?' Meera laughs 

'Don't trust boys too much these days.' Minho says starting to drive.

'Aren't you one of them then' Meera whispers to herself.

'Did you say something?' Minho asks looking at her

'But thanks to you, I could leave. I knew no one there except for one girl, and she made me dance, was super uncomfortable. On top I had to pack my stuff too, but I am so tired.' Meera says stretching her neck.
