Hello, thank you so much for reading and I hope you like. this is angsty so... sorry? so yeah, I hope you like it. as always please keep comments clean and Patton-friendly!

Logan:

"No! YOU'RE NOT LISTENING TO ME!!!" Logan screamed at you, both of you in a face off in the living room. you flinched at his screaming but you knew you couldn't back down.

"Logan, I'm not happy." you said, avoiding eye contact.

"what do you want me to do?!!! quit my job?! we both know I can't do that." Logan yelled loudly.

"you... just have canceled our last 3 dates Lo. you never have time for me, you never have time for us!" you said, your mind spinning, thoughts playing in your head over and over again, taunting you with quotes, warning your friend gave you when you started dating him

"well maybe my work is more important than us!" Logan screamed back, causing you both to stop, staring at each other. you stared at his walnut brown eyes, searching them as your eyes turned glossy.

"oh... alright then, I won't distract you from your precious work any longer." you said, venom in your icy tone. Logan stared at you, his eyes wide, he'd never seen you with that tone, he'd never seen you that hurt from him. he hurt you. he hurt you. he hurt you.

"well, good luck. Logan Sanders. I hope you have a nice life." you said breathing deeply to keep the sobs inside, before turning and walking out the door. closing the door with a slam behind you. as a single tear leaked down Logan's pale cheek.

Patton:

"Patton, I can't always do the right thing, I can't give this up." you said, tears in your eyes as you stared at the invitation in front of you. you looked up at Patton's somber face. as he walked carefully towards you. his soft shoes against the tile of the kitchen

"you have to, the other person deserves it." Patton said, reaching to take the invitation out of your hand, slowly, which just made it more painful. tears rolled down your cheeks. you placed your hand on his wrist to stop him

"Patton, they didn't show up. you have no idea what kind of opportunity this is for me." you tried to plead, and Patton's brow wrinkled. he bit his lip, as more tears leaked from your face

"you know you can't do this." Patton said, you looked at him, eyes wide.

"why not?!!! the opportunity of a lifetime gets dropped in my lap, and I'm supposed to give it up because someone's car wouldn't start, how is that fair Patton?" you asked, looking at him, Patton's hurt face hurting your heart so badly you don't know how you didn't scream right there

"y/n, you know you can't keep this. I can't let you keep this." Patton said breaking eye contact with you, as you thought about everything that had led up to this moment, how happy you were to tell Patton, only for him to... to just... end it all.

"Patton... I can't let you take this away from me." you said sadly, looking at him both of you at a standstill, his light brown eyes scanned yours, searching them for any doubt, as his own filled with pain

"maybe its best if we... take a break from each other." Patton said, his voice cracking. you let out a pained gasp, looking at him, hating the idea but seeing Patton was very serious, crying as well.

"if you feel its best Patton, if you feel its best." you whispered before a sob broke loose and you ran out of the house, Patton watching behind you. as a small sob broke from his voice as filling the air as well
