Cheater

Sadie's pov:

I was sitting in my room, actually I was - finally - cleaning it, I placed my books on the shelves, I folded my clothes and placed them in drawers, I reorganized my makeup, and most important, I straightened my black short hair yay, yea I did a lot of things, luckily it was Friday night so I didn't have anything to do, I sat on my bed pulling my laptop on and putting on a movie, I was in the mood for an old scary movie with cold weather so I choosed "sleepy hallow" you know, that movie with the headless horseman and Johnny Depp and started watching it, just as ichabod crane was fighting the horseman my brother, Liam, brag into my room, me and Liam have a nice relationship, we are not like other siblings who annoy each other, we've been together since dad committed suicide and mom is busy with work, luckily me and him aren't that different, he stormed into my room with a board expression on his face before plopping on my bed facing the ceiling, he stayed silent before speaking with an annoyed tone"can Jughead come tonight? " my heart fluttered at the mentioned of his name, no he is not my boyfriend, sadly he is just my best friend, he is dating the perfect girl next door and of course she takes the opportunity to make me jealous since she knew about my feelings towards the serpents king, I'm happy for him and I can handle betty soo I'm good "sadie, you there?" my brother snapped me out of my thoughts, he looked at me with a smirk, he knew about my feelings towards my best friend, in fact everyone knew and were so nice to me when I accepted the so called "bughead", any way I shrugged while taking my phone and walking towards the window, it was snowing so much, I wanted to make sure it stopped before calling him, I left the curtains and saw a horrifying scene in front of me, I saw Betty with Reggie, yeah they were undressing each other and making out, I gasped in horror, Jughead would be broken, I didn't notice Liam coming next to me who gasped as well, we exchanged looks before continuing our spying, I didn't know what to do "you should tell Jughead" he said while nodding his head, a disgusted expression on his face, I shook my head causing my black short hair to dance around my face and before I could reply, my door flew open causing me and Liam to jump looking at the person behind us who turned out to be the one and the only, Jughead Jones, with his warm smile that I could have sworn that it made me melt inside and stumbled in my steps, me and Liam covered the window and forced smiles "Jughead, what a surprise we were just calling you!" Liam said with nervousness lacing his voice, before jug reply, mom appeared from behind him placing her hand on his shoulder with a warm smile "I called him, I will be working late tonight and I thought you might like some company" she finished as she came inside giving me and my brother a hug, luckily she didn't see Betty's room, she left after she gave me some money incase we wanted to order anything and went on her way, we stayed silent for a while with our smile and Jughead shifting his gaze between us "you guys okay?" he asked his smile starting to turn into frown as he walked towards us, liam, being the quick thinker he is, he moved forward stopping him in his tracks "yeah, well, you know why don't we go set the movies while sadie order pizza for us?" he said looking at me before moving forward, sadly Jughead didn't move, he just looked at me with a frown he stepped closer to me "syd, you okay?" I hate when he call me syd, that stupid nickname that doesn't belong to sadie, still, that name always made my face turn red and the truth slip away from my mouth, I stayed silent until he was right in front of me, he looked at me like I was some sort of a kid who just disobeyed her parents, I took a deep breath and started to talk "I.. I-" before I finished his eyes moved to the window as he tried to push past me, his face turning into a scowl as I push him away and Liam moved to my side in case something happened and we needed to hold him, "sadie, get out of my way!" he ordered not removing his gaze from the window, when I shook my head and tried to talk to him he pushed me to the side and I stumbled into Liam who caught my arm, of course he stumbled too but, honestly who wouldn't, both of us watched him in horror as he stormed outside the room, we stayed still for a moment before running behind him, once we were outside we saw the cooper's door open and heavy footsteps running on the stairs, both of us ran into the empty house, when we made it to the room, Betty was covering herself and Reggie was putting his clothes on and jug, oh boy, I swear I saw steam coming out of his ears, Reggie ran out of the house before jug had the chance to turn to him, he was busy screaming and yelling at Betty, he moved to her and she flinched away, if it wasn't us who held jug back, I swear Jughead would have been broken his rule about not hitting a girl, he stormed outside the house, we followed him leaving betty in her room crying and sobbing, drama queen, when we saw Jughead he was walking so fast away from us "go inside" I ordered Liam while running after Jughead, my short and small frame wasn't helping me catching up with him, when I finally spotted him, he was sitting on a bench that somehow didn't have any snow on it, he sat there, head in his hand, he looked so broken, I moved slowly to him, sitting down next to him he sighed, not facing me his emotionless voice came " that's why you were acting weird then" he finished with a chuckle looking me in the eyes, I smiled sadly at him mumbling a small sorry while rubbing his back, he looked at me with a sigh "it's not your fault, or is it?" he narrowed his eyes at me with a smirk, I chuckled lightly at him but couldn't stop myself "aren't you sad?" he shook his head taking a deep breath "I'm not, I'm angry, angry that I didn't see that coming, angry cause I thought she loved me, I thought that I was breaking her heart cause I didn't love her and just tried to forget about you" he blurted out leaving me in shock with my jaw dropped, but boy, he doesn't stop there "I liked you since the day I met you in park while you were reading Moby dick, I liked every small detail about you, but I was scared, scared that you don't feel the same about me, so I dated Betty, I guess she was there and when she said she liked me I said that I did too, but now I realize none of us meant it, heck I love you sadie "by the time he finished he was standing with his back facing me, I stood up, placing my hand on his shoulder, before I could speak he grabbed my wrist pulling me closer, the warmth from his body helped my black sweatshirt a little bit, I looked in his eyes, the eyes of the boy that I loved for years, who just confirmed that he loved me "can I do something?" his eyes locked with mine, I nodded looking down, he grabbed my chin and caught my lips in a sweet yet passionate kiss, my hand grabbed the collar of his jacket , our bodies pressed together as his arm flew to my waist pulling me closer if possible, his other hand holding the back of my neck, supporting me, I wondered if this is the way betty felt and if it is, how could she throw it away like this, he pulled away needing air, he rested his forehead on mine, a smirk played on my lips as I opened my eyes looking at him "you are a complete idiot" I said my smirk turning into a wide smile, he looked puzzled and it made me laugh "I love you too you idiot" I raised my voice, happy that I said it out loud, he smiled at me and kissed the corner of my lips before pulling away, removing one of his jackets and dropping it on my shoulder, we walked home in silence, hands intertwined together, we spotted Betty on her house steps, dressed in pink pajamas and pink coat, God that girl needs to add some color to her clothes, she ran to jug, she cupped his face looking at him with teary eyes "jug, babe, please you have to listen to me, I didn't mean it you know that I love you" she stopped and then glared at me and at our hand as jug's grip tightened around my hand "mind keeping your hands away from my boyfriend and leave us alone, I know you meant this, you were always jealous that Jughead chose me and not you" she hissed stepping closer to me, before I knew it, Jughead stepped in front of me, pushing betty slightly "actually betty, I was scared to reveal my feelings for sadie, so I thought that if I dated you I would get over her, just like you did, you wanted to get over Archie, but I realized that, I'll never get over her, because I love her and it's not just a crush "he finished trying to move past her but, she stopped him" you love me Jughead, and you will realize that "Jughead suddenly turned around lifting me up into a kiss, I warped my arms around his neck as his held me tight, that kiss wasn't like the other one, this was rough and filled with a lot of things, love, anger, different things , I heard betty groan and her front door slams shut, I pulled away my lips were slightly swallowed and he had a smirk on his face, we stared at each other until "finally!" that voice almost cost Jughead to drop me to the floor but, he caught him self, we turned around and saw my dear brother standing on the doorstep, hands clasped together, a wide smile spread across his face, I buried my head in Jughead's shoulder feeling him chuckle, he placed me down and went to help Liam and have the" brother talk " and I stood there grinning like a fool, this is definitely going to be the best weekend I can ever have...
