'goddamn, why the fuck is lucas cleary so fine?' :: june march 23rd, 2020
"LUCAS CLEARY, I HATE TO SAY THIS, BUT AS YOUR BEST FRIEND AND FAKE GIRLFRIEND, I THINK I HAVE TO; YOU ARE BEING A BIG FUCKING BABY," I SAY, CROSSING MY ARMS. Lucas blinks at me.
He's laying on the couch and since Ivy rejected him, he's been a mess.
"Fake girlfriend?" Awsten chuckles next to me and I punch him in the arm. "Ow..." he mumbles, walking to the kitchen.
"You need to stop acting like an idiot and realize that we are grown adults," I say to my roommate. "Ivy can reject you if she would like, and if you really truly are her friend, you need to accept that."
He frowns. "June, what the fuck?"
"It has been three days, you need to get up off your ass and get over her," I say. Lucas frowns even more, but he doesn't say anything. "Do you know how many times I've liked a guy and they haven't liked me back? Jesus, I've been in love with Harry Styles for ten years, but you don't see me crying on the couch because he doesn't know I exist."
"But Ivy does know I exist," Lucas whines. "And instead she's with Travis."
I sit down next to him and sigh. "Just, I'm sorry. That was kind of harsh before-"
"No, you're right, I am being a big fucking baby. Of course, she doesn't like me. I'll find some other girl to break my heart."
"Lucas Cleary if you talk like that one more time I'm literally going to beat your ass."
He smiles softly at his hands folded across his stomach.
"You are a hot piece of ass, and you shouldn't let anyone tell you otherwise," I grin, causing him to smile wider. "You're gonna find a girl and she's gonna be hot as fuck too and she's gonna see you and be like 'Goddamn, why the fuck is Lucas Cleary so fine?' And you too are gonna have cute little babies and Imma steal them because they're gonna be so cute."
He laughs and I ask, "Do you wanna watch Miss Americana now?" Lucas nods and we turn it on.
Throughout the movie, he mutters things like, "Good documentary", and "Look at her, I love her."

Awsten and I laugh. "It's part of the bit," Awsten grins.
Lucas sighs and opens Instagram. "June, do you have that picture of me from Emmy Evan's Halloween party last year? The one where I'm dressed up as Spider-Man."
I think for a few moments and pull my phone out of my pocket. "Yeah, I think so."
"Can you send it to me?"
Lucas posts the photo and we go back to watching Miss Americana, and a few minutes later, Lucas pauses the movie, saying,
"Who the fuck is Noella Bright?"
