freshly squeezed is sick as hell :: june march 4th, 2020
THE NEXT DAY, LUCAS, AWSTEN, AND I ORDER BREAKFAST. We decided it would probably just be better to take it back to the apartment instead of eating inside the diner, so Awsten and I go pick it up together and Lucas stays home to watch tv.
"Do you guys go here a lot?" Awsten asks, holding the door open for me as we walk into Annie's Diner.
There's something about him being outside of the apartment that makes me actually like him.
"Yeah," I answer. "They're really good, you have to try their orange juice. It's freshly squeezed."
"Freshly squeezed is sick as hell," he grins, causing me to laugh.
I walk up to the counter and they tell me our order will be done shortly, so Awsten and I go sit on the bench and wait.
He takes out his phone and holds it up. "Smile," he says, taking a picture.
