EXTENDED SUMMARY!
LUCAS CLEARY AND AWSTEN KNIGHT ARE OLD FRIENDS. They met in the brief period when Awsten attended college but didn't lose touch when he left to pursue his music career. So in between tours, the two decide Awsten should come for a visit sometime in the near future.
But a new album dropping puts their plans on hold for a few months until late April 2020, when the stars finally align, and Awsten books a flight. Upon arriving in Seattle, he meets Lucas' roommate, June, who is less than happy to have another grown adult staying in the apartment. So the Waterparks frontman decides to spend some time with some other friends living in the area in hopes to keep her happy.
But when a global pandemic causes airports to close, and people to quarantine in their homes, Awsten's stuck in Seattle, staying with a girl who wants him to leave more than anything in the world. At least, that's what she's telling herself.
