After work, Ijekiel went home and took out the box. He looked at the calendar on his table while holding the hairpin that he took out from the box in his hand. He spaced out a little. When he finally came back to reality, he looked at the pin.
"Isn't this..."
He couldn't believe his eyes. He went to take the pin he bought the other day to compare.
"...It's the same hairpin?"
He looked at the two identical pins, front and back. He's not mistaken, they're the exact same pin! He contacted Athanasia.
*beep beep*
A: "Hello?"
I: "Athanasia"
A: "Yes?"
I: "The pin I bought from you... you said it was your family's company right?"
A: "Yes"
I: "What's the name of the shop?"
A: "I don't know. My father gave me a bunch of pins when I told him about your order so I picked the best one suited for Jeannette like you asked me to."
I: "Oh okay then."
A: "Is there a problem?"
I: "No. Sorry to bother you."
A: "Don't mind"
I: "See you in school"
A: "Mm bye."
I: "Bye"
*beep beep*
"Guess I'll confirm with the shop." Ijekiel kept the two hairpins in the box and went to shower.
His phone rang many times just when he was about to finish showering.
"Who's messaging me so late at this hour?" He went to his phone and saw: Lucas sent 99+ messages

ijekiel: it's a hairpin i ordered from Mr Alger.
lucas: isn't that the shop we bought the hairpins?
ijekiel: wait.. seriously?
lucas: read the sign before entering the shop, dude
ijekiel: i look at the products, not the name
lucas: it says "Alger Accessories"
ijekiel: seriously?!
lucas: what good will come for me to not be serious now
ijekiel: lol ok
lucas: ok?
ijekiel: I'm going there tomorrow
lucas: why
ijekiel: the pins i bought are the same
lucas: how can u order the same pin?
ijekiel: well i just asked athanasia to choose the one that suits jeannette best
lucas: and coincidentally it was the same one as u bought from the shop?
ijekiel: yes
lucas: why would u buy another one when u already bought one
ijekiel: i was afraid it's not the best
lucas: trust ur first choice bro
ijekiel: fine

"This dude, cold as ever. Always leaving me on read." Ijekiel turned off his phone and went to bed.
On the other hand, Lucas was busy wrapping Athanasia's present that's why he didn't care to reply Ijekiel.
"Damn it. I didn't expect this would be so hard."
Eventhough it's difficult, Lucas did not give up. It's a precious pin bought with his precious money for his precious girl afterall.
