Chapter 3

It was Monday which meant I get to see Payton tomorrow. I was done packing and I was bored so I decided to call Faith (Payton's sister) to tell her about tomorrow.
*calling Faith💕*
F: hey
Y/n: hey wyd
F: nothing really
Y/n: well what are you doing tomorrow
F: I'm just chilling tomorrow till I go to work at 1
Y/n: ok well can I ask you a favor
F: yeah sure anything
Y/n: ok so don't tell Payt but I'm flying down there tomorrow to stay with my mom for a month because my dad has business is New York and I can't stay here alone so
F: wait your coming back
Y/n: yeah but please don't tell Payton I wanna surprise him
F: I won't
Y/n: ok well my plane lands at 11:35 and I was wondering if you could come pick me up
F: why can't your mom come get you
Y/n: she has to work
F: oh ok well yeah sure I'll be there
Y/n: ok thank you
F: no problem, oh crap I gtg my mom is calling me for food
Y/n: ok well see ya tomorrow
F: see ya
*call ended*

After I talked to faith i took my bags downstairs to save time tomorrow and I went and ate some leftover pizza when Payton texted me

P: I really miss you🥺
Y: I REALLY miss you too
P: I can't wait for this summer
Y: me too it's going to be so fun
P: yeah, wait I have an idea
Y: what?🤔
P: what if I get you tiktok famous like me and I can talk my manager in to letting you come on tour with me
Y: payt that sounds like a lot of fun but
P: but what
Y: you know I don't want to be famous
P: your going to end up being famous anyway if you hang out with me
Y: I just don't know if my anxiety can handle all the screaming fans n stuff
P: yeah I get it
Y: 😘
P: ❤️
Y: I love you chopstick
P: I love you too bby
Y: ok well Gn
P: goodnight 🌙 ❤️
*smiles*

The next morning

I woke up to my alarm at 4:15am. My flight leaves at 7 and it takes an hour to get to the airport from my house. I got up showered change into sweats and a hoodie and got in the car

Car ride

Y/d: you excited to see your mom again
Y: yeah but I really wanna see Payton
Y/d: you still talk to him
Y: yeah all the time
Y/d: well that's good, anyway I want you too text me as soon as you land and as soon as you get to your moms
Y: ok I will
Y/d: have fun sweetie I'll miss you
Y: I'll miss you too

I got out of the car and ran in. It was 6:27 and I was going to be late if I didn't run. I finally got through security and everything and now I'm waiting

5 minutes later

?: gate number 17 to Charlotte is now boarding.

I immediately jumped up and ran on the plane finding my seat and sitting down

By the window yesss!!

I fell asleep for most of it put woke up when we where about to land. We landed and I ran as fast as my shirt legs could go till I seen Faith and jumped in her arms.
F: OMG HIII
Y: OMG
F: I feel like I haven't seen you in forever
Y: it's been 2 years
F: really has it
Y: yeah it has
F: ok well let's go I told Payton I was getting food so
Y: ok well I'm starving I haven't ate since like 6
F: ok well let's get something and go home
Y: yes please
We laughed and talked the whole time and when we pulled up to her house we when in and Payton was sitting in the couch watching tv and didn't even see us come in. Faith told me to go up to his room so I did. It was still like it was 2 years ago but there was more stuff and more cloths on the floor "boys" I heard someone coming up the stairs so I just sat on his bed waiting when the door opened revealing a shirtless Payton in black adidas sweats with his Calvin Klein underwear sticking out from the top. His jaw dropped when he seen me and he froze.

Payton POV

Faith came hone and told me to go get my speaker out of my room so she could play music. She has her own speaker so I don't know why she wanted mine but I agreed and went to my room to get it but when I got in there I seen y/n sitting on my bed. I froze and my jaw dropped. I was in shock I didn't know what to do but I snapped out of it and went to hug her.
P: omg why are you here
Y: I wanted to surprise you
P: well you sure have done that, but is that the only reason your here
Y: no my dad has business in New York and I couldn't stay home alone so
P: wait are you staying with us
Y: no I'm supposed to be staying with my mom but I'm sure she wouldn't mind me staying a few nights
P: how long are you here for
Y: just a month
P: oh
Y: yeah but maybe I can stay longer
P: please don't leave me again. As I said that I grabbed her waist and hugged her again and started to cry on her shoulder.
Y: I promise you that I will be stay with you as long as I can.
P: please don't go again I don't think I have been myself since you left
Y: Payton please don't cry
P: I just missed you so much
Y: I missed you to but don't cry your gonna make me cry
P: I don't wanna see you cry again
Y: then stop
P: ok
We pulled away from the hug. Long hug I know right. She wiped the tears from my cheeks and kissed my forehead. All I wanted to do was kiss her soft lips again. Ever since she kissed me the day she left I couldn't get that out of my mind. I was replaying the whole thing in my head over and over. I just don't know if she wants to kiss me.
