Later on that day we had a big bonfire. We sat our chairs around the fire and sang campfire songs and laughed and told stories. Then when it was really quiet and it was nearly midnight my mother suggested that I should sing by myself. Of course I blushed but accepted it only and only if I could get my guitar and books back. She agreed and now I sit on my chair with my guitar back in my lap. My mother on the left side and Will on the right of me. Thomas sat in front of me, Tori right up against him. Ava sat in Tasha’s lap who was sitting next to Thomas and Mark. Drake sat next to my mother. I started strumming the guitar, every pair of eyes on me. (Except for Tori’s, her eyes were glued to Thomas’s face.)

Oh, Misty eye of the mountain below keep careful watch of my brothers’ souls

And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke, keep watching over Durin’s sons

If this is to end in fire then we should all burn together

Watch the flames climb high into the night

Calling out father oh stand by and we will watch

The flames burn auburn on the mountainside.

And if we should die tonight then we should all die together

Raise a glass of wine one last time

Calling out father oh prepare as we will watch

The flames burn auburn on the mountainside desolation comes upon the sky

Now I see fire inside the mountain I see fire burning the trees

And I see fire-hollowing souls I see fire blood in the breeze

And I hope that you remember me, Oh should my people fall

Then surely I’ll do the same confined in mountain halls

We got too close to the flame calling out father oh hold fast and we will

Watch the flames burn auburn on the mountainside desolation comes upon the sky

Now I see fire inside the mountain I see fire burning the trees

I see fire-hollowing souls I see fire blood in the breeze

And hope that you remember me

And if the night is burning I will cover my eyes for it the dark returns

Then my brothers will die and as the sky is falling down

It crashed into this lonely town and with that shadow upon the ground

I hear my people screaming out. Now I see fire inside the mountain

I see fire burning the trees, I see fire-hollowing souls I see fire blood in the breeze

I see fire, and I see fire, and I see fire, and I see fire

Burn auburn on the mountainside.

I finish the song, everyone clapping for me. I blushed and sank back into my seat. Everyone told me I was amazing and awesome. I thanked everyone and went to bed exhausted. As I was walking back to my tent I heard someone behind me. I whipped around and saw someone I was not really expecting but was, someone that could make my heart race and could sing way better then me. Somehow I knew whom it was before I even turned around. Thomas was walking towards me.
