You step out of the room, shutting the door behind you. Clementine forgot the keys again, so you made sure to pick them up. You aren't going to tell her, it would ruin the fun.

Aj left the room shortly before the two of you. He's going to go make some friends. Hopefully.

Clem: Want to check on Louis, Violet, and Ruby on the way by?

You: Louis not so much, but it's a package deal isn't it?

Clem: Yeah.

She knocks on their door. Violet opens it seconds later.

Violet: Thank God you two are alright! We wanted to check, but thought it would be safest if we stayed in here just in case.

Clem: Are you guys alright?

Violet: Yeah, Louis is scared shitless still.

Louis: No I'm not!

Violet: He is.

Clem: Where's Ruby?

Violet: They took her to the medical building yesterday. Said they could use her help. I'm sure she's just fixing people up from yesterday.

You hope that's the case, Cayde wasn't involved, so she's probably fine.

Clem: We just wanted to check on you.

Violet: You wanted to.

You: I actually wanted to know if you were ok, just so you know.

Louis: Even me?

Louis pops up behind Violet. A big, stupid grin on his face.

You: No.

Louis: Damn. How am I going to fix our relationship, Y/N?

You: Stop being you.

Louis: Got it.

Clem: Why are you like that Y/N?

Violet: I'm on his side.

Louis: Uh oh Clem. You have to pick a side.

Clem: No.

You: She'd pick my side.

Louis: Probably.

Violet: Yep.

Louis: I'm going to swan dive off of the balcony.

You: Wow.

Violet: No you won't.

Clem: Well, I'm hungry so we're going to get going.

Violet: Wait and we'll join you.

You: Or you can get ready and catch up.

Violet: Alright, we'll see you there.

You walk out of the hotel building and into the street. The Sun is just peeking over the wall at the end of town. A big hole still open in the gate. Although it looks like they started fixing it.

Clem: I wonder how long it will take them to fix the gate.

She seems to watch you very closely. Noticing everything you notice.

You: We won't be around long enough to know.

Clem: We don't know that.

You: It's not safe here.

Clem: It might only be that Cayde guy.

You: Clem, I'll make sure, but the moment it becomes too dangerous, we're gone.
