Bexley woke up and walked out to the living room to see her mother and to her surprise, Colby.

"Hey sleepyhead" Rebecca said when Bexley sat in between her and Colby

"Sleep good?" Colby asked and she groaned then laid her head on his lap

Bexley was never one to be pleasant when she woke up, just like Rebecca.

"Guess what" Rebecca said "I got the results of your test" and that was enough for the little girl to sit straight up and be fully awake

"Who's my dad?" She asked the obvious question and Rebecca looked to Colby and smiled

Bexley looked over to the man sitting next to her and he was also smiling, she just couldn't wrap her head around the fact her moms best friend was her dad. Sure she'd been trying to get them together for years, now she'd have a reason.

"Colby's my dad?" Bexley questioned "my real real dad?"

"He's your real real dad" Rebecca confirmed "now you know who your dad is"

Bexley turned around and wrapped her little arms around Colby's neck. He wrapped his arms around her and just stayed in that moment for a while. They'd shared many hugs in the past but this one felt different, there was a meaning behind this one.

"Are you happy now?" Rebecca asked "now that you know?"

"Yes I'm happy, I have a dad now" Bexley said and Colby smiled
