Fairy lights, pastel flowers, and instant films are going to be the highlight of my venue. Instead of one of our hotels, I suggested a venue in Tagaytay that has a beautiful backdrop of Taal. It's normally used in Weddings but I know it'd look just as good as a debut venue.

I only have two outfits to changed into. My main outfit is an off shoulder tulle ball gown. The pink color is really light that it almost looks white. On the loosely hanging off shoulder sleeves were beaded intricate pieces of handmade flowers.

Different kinds and colors of flowers are also scattered a bit in the gown, especially on the end of the gown that meets the floor. It looked magical. Something I'd see being worn by a princess in an enchanted forest in some fairy tale movie.

For my change of outfit, it was still tulle but a simpler version of my gown. It was flowy with minimal embellishment but still as classy and elegant as the ball gown.

To be honest, if I can have it my way, I'd rather just celebrate my birthday with a family dinner because having too much attention makes me shy but my mother wants to throw a grand party for me because that's what they did for Ate Laurene. I don't want to disappoint my mom. I know she just wants the best for me.

I asked Kuya Zeno if he can perform in my debut. Pumayag siya at sinabi pa na aayain niya ang mga kaibigan niya. He wanted me to dance with them even for just a minute but it really wasn't my area of expertise. Nakakahiya. At nandoon si Ali. Mas lalong nakakahiya.

Umuwi si Kuya Xavi para sa party ko. He's staying in the Philippines for two weeks pero babalik din sa France dahil doon na siya nagta-trabaho.

With a few days left for my party, my mother was busy with the preparation. Wala akong pasok ngayong araw kaya ngayon ang napili niyang araw para sa last fitting ng aking gowns.

"I think longer hair will suit your gowns. You will look like a fairy. We can ask your hairstylist to prepare hair extensions. What do you think, Hyon?" My mom smiled at me through the wall mirror.

I was standing on a circle platform, elevated for better viewing. I stared at my own reflection. I can not deny my mother's taste. She likes grand and fashionable things. If I was asked to choose, I'd probably choose something that wouldn't stand out and simple.

I touched my hair. Lampas balikat na ang buhok ko dahil hindi ko na 'yon pinagupitan mula last year. I agree with her. I think it will look better if it's longer.

"I think so, too." Tumango ako.

"Let's go to the salon after this so we can re-touch the color of your hair. Your balayge looks lovely on you."

"Okay, Mommy." I smiled at her.

My mom talked to the tailor while I got changed. Afterwards, we went to the salon as planned.

The staff was already working on my hair when I've decided to send Ali a message. Nasa trabaho pa rin kaya siya?

Hyon Alexandria Serrano:
Hello. 😊

Akala ko ay matatagalan ang reply niya pero nakasagot naman agad.

Ali Santiesteban:
Hi.

'Yon lang ang sagot niya pero napangiti pa rin ako. I was about to type a response but he sent another message.

Ali Santiesteban:
Done with the fitting?

He knows because I told him in the morning. We don't spend every minute exchanging messages but I send him updates. At tingin ko ganoon din naman siya. He offers information to me. Kapag kakain sila sa labas for lunch o ano.
