Just a Simple Touch

Everything felt right. This exact moment with Houston made me feel as if this was all I ever wanted, the way our lips intertwined, the way his hands followed the curves of my body making sure to hold me tight against him was the most amazing feeling I could have every imagined. I didn't want this moment to stop but I knew it had to, I lightly pushed him away to look up at him his eyes were closed shut and his face was full of disappointment from me pulling away. 

"Houston" I lightly gasped 

He slowly opened his eyes and gazed into mine "I need you" 

What he said warmed my heart, but I couldn't let his words make me look past the way he treated me. I want us to get along and moments with just a simple kiss showed me that there is a possibility that we can get along. I know he wants me he has said plenty of times, but I am unsure if I want him. I don't know the guy at all and I am still torn between Alvaro and what is going on between us. 

"I don't know what to say" I admitted 

Houston cupped one hand over my cheek "You don't have to say anything" He placed a gently kiss on my lips sending  shivers down my spine 

I inhaled deeply trying to keep my composer "I'm serious Houston" 

"Tell me your doubts" Houston rubbed his thumb in circles around my cheeks

"I need.. to get to know you" Which was true, I don't know what my feelings are for Houston were there any feelings at all? Or just pure lust ? 

Houston nodded his head "I agree you just need to know that I want you and I won't stop until I do, with that being said you need to get rid of Alvaro" 

I let out a small laugh but Houston didn't even crack a smile, he was serious  "It's not that simple" 

"Yes it is call him up and tell him you don't want him" Houston traced his thumb to the bottom of my lip, I grabbed his hand and pulled it away from my face gently I needed him to stay focus on what we are talking about 

"I do have to talk to Alvaro but I am not cutting him off from my life we were friends before anything happened between us" I explained but Houston wasn't pleased with my answer 

He rolled my eyes and held on to my hand tighter "Ex's can't be friends" 

"You don't know me and Alvaro" I defended, I know Alvaro and I hadn't left things on good terms but he was my best friend for a very long time before we became official I can't see us no longer being friends we just have to work things out unless Alvaro wants different.  

"I don't want to know about you and Alvaro" Houston bluntly said 

I rolled my eyes "Fine" I was done talking  about this I just needed some time for myself to think everything over 

"I'm going back to chipotle" I say awkwardly changing the subject

Houston smirked "Are you done running away from me ?" 

I rolled my eyes taking my hands out of his and began to walk back to Chipotle with Houston following behind me 

"Is everything ok guys?" Emma asked once Houston and I took seats next to each other 

I glanced over at Houston before slightly nodding my head on the other hand Houston didn't say a word he kept his eyes on me. 

"So how did the shopping go ?" Maddie asked Emma and I once we got our food 

"Oh we were so successful" Emma said she went on a rant about how much stuff we got and how much fun we had, as Emma went on and on about our shopping spree I felt Houston's hand take mine under the table as he watched Emma talk away. 

I felt my lips slip into a small smile I didn't want to make it obvious how excited I was that Houston holding my hand. As time went on I watched Maddie and Caleb's cute interactions with one another. The way he smiles at her when she talks and the Maddie blushes when Caleb talks about her cute dimples when she smiles. I hope they work out they look great together. Houston stood quite the entire time he would only smile or laugh when one of us made a joke about something. I was surprised on how quiet Houston was, for somebody that has a lot to say he sure knows how to keep his thoughts to himself. 

"Hey how about we help you guys out with decorating your room ?" Caleb asked pointing to Maddie and Houston 

"Oh yes ! please let us help" Maddie agreed 

"Of course ! We can use the help" Emma happily said 

Houston turned to look at me "Is that something you want ?"

"Yea I don't mind the more the better" I said 

Houston shrugged "Then I'm in" 

We all rushed to finish our food to start heading out we were all a little to excited to decorate my room "Emma drive Vally's car" Houston stated

What ? I questioned 

"Who?" Emma asked 

Houston rolled his eyes at the fact that he had to explain himself "Valentina's car drive it back she's coming with me" He dug his hands in my purse which I didn't appreciate one bit finding my keys and tossing it to Emma 

"I am ?" I asked 

Houston ignored my questioned instead he began pulling me towards the exit of the resturant "I can drive my own car" 

Once again he ignored me opening the passenger car door for me to sit which I did "I want you with me" Houston said once he sat down in the driver seat 

"You could have asked me I would have said yes" Houston didn't answer me he just kept his stone cold eyes on the road, I don't know why he's acting like this it rubs me the wrong way but at the same time his mysterious attitude makes me want to be around him more
