"I'm sorry Jace" Clary said her eyes filling with tears, "I don't mean to cry"
Jace looked at the ground, his heart breaking. Did Clary really not love him? Was it too soon? Jace was confused.
"YES" Clary exclaimed
Thank the angel, Jace thought.
He stood and put the ring on her finger. He pulled her into an embrace and kissed her.
Clary's pov
I have never been so happy! I'm going to marry Jace Herondale! Hmmm, Clary Herondale, I love the sound of that. I am already thinking of wedding plans! Ooo I need to tell Isabelle!
I pull away from Jace and run to her room and burst in. She looked at me in surprise. Simon was in their too, perfect. I held up my hand for them too see. Isabelle screamed in excitement.
"OMG, WHEN WHERE HOW?????" She screamed
I explained everything and she was beaming. Simon looked happy and scared, cause now Isabelle was probably expecting him to make the next step too. Me and Isabelle got into a wedding planning talk. Everything was finally perfect!
