Jace was walking down the hall thinking about how lucky he was to have Clary.
"We have been through so much" he whispered to himself.
As he walked he found himself at Clary's door.
"This is it"
He knocked. Clary opened the door so fast it was as if she was waiting for him.
"Hi Jace" she said with a smile
Jace looked rather uncomfortable, almost scared.
"What's wrong?"
Jace didn't answer, instead he swooped down, picked Clary up and gave her a kiss.
"Let me down!" She exclaimed with a laugh. Jace laughed too.
"Clary, I love you, no, I'm in love with you, so deep I can't see anything but you. We have been through so much, I have made so many mistakes, but yet you always chose me! I am incapable of loving anyone more."
Clary looked at him with tears in her eyes as he got down on on knee. He took out a box and opened it, revealing an emerald ring, the same shade as Clary's eyes.
Clary's tears escaped her eyes, running down her face.
"Will you, Clarissa, marry me?" Jace finally said at last.
"I'm sorry Jace........"
