Visitations limited
Once or twice a year
An animal concept of isolation
The tears feel obsolete
Am I supposed to miss you?

It seems like you've stolen that too

And you're enigmatic
A mystery for me to learn
I thought I would know you
My lifeline from a young age
But the echoes from our voices
Don't ring out the same

And I can't say the same
You fill my dreams
Fluorescent nightmares
Engraved in steel
You're a shooting star
Through my mind
What is the world?
Are you here twice?
Panic attacks filled with your name
Yet you get upset when my anxiety takes over
A suicidal mind over a damaged heart?
But stars never fall apart
My pulse is skipping
A luminous heart in your palm
Crush it as you dare
Glowing dust and drugs to loosen the fall
In the confusion of trying to trying to lose you
I've seemed to lose myself in the process
Am I supposed to miss you?

But I can't, I refuse

Narcotic pain
Superficial joy
Euphoric stress
Is it enough?
Why should I suffer your loss?
You should HATE me.
I've worked so hard.
It's SELFDESTRUCTIVE
