sometimes its hard just to stay strong
holding on, all along, nothing couldn't ever go wrong
listen to them, listen to their screams
their tears, their fears, just calm down and hear me out
dance around the room as the night breaks
days into dusk, sunrise and dark rust
dust sparkled across the distant memories
too far away to even grasp at all
little children scream and yell
the boy begs for mercy, the girl to be let out
no amount of scars could take the pain all away
so just leave it for another day
frost shining at half past night
only seen alone through a flashlight
leaving home
to not feel alone
