..to the 194th chapter of this book because how can you write an introduction without knowing what you've got in store to be introduced?

But now I know so I'm here.

'Nostalgia' is a journey that I've taken deep into the halls of my soul for three years, a lapse in the discernment of reality that caused me to dive into the streets of my heart and pull out all the longings that ever resided in there.

To call it merely a collection of poems would be an injustice for it's more of a journal holding the record of all the feelings, thoughts, events and songs tinting my life for the past three years which is why I have a strong emotional connection with my readers.

The beginning constitutes of rhyming poems because I found it easy to write two years ago. Or maybe for no reason at all? However, towards the middle, I started writing free verse and used lowercase alphabets for such poems. But I'd call it a kaleidoscope of both. If you're curious, free verse along with its inspiration can be found in my poem called 'Metaphors' and afterwards.

I aimed at writing a poetic introduction but went against it for, in a book of 198 poems, some prose could do, no? ^-^
