"Oh my gosh! Gabe! What happened?!" I exclaim running into the nurses office. 

She is tending to his black eye.

"Oh I'll be fine in a couple fo minutes. Don't worry about it!" He says as if getting punched in the face is a normal thing.

"I came as soon as I heard! Who punched you?"

"Oh my friend Blaine. Its nothing really. Something 'bout a girl saying 'she's mine'? It'll be fine."

"Blaine did this?!" I ask angerily.

"Yeah but seriously Brooke I'm okay."

I clench my fist and then let it release.

"He punched Gabe because of you?!" Kat exclaims.

"Shhh! I said I think!" I shush her.

"Thats so romantic! And that means Blaine likes you!" Layla tells me.

I sit back against my seat.

"Blaine!" my mother exclaims in surprise as I walk into the kitchen. "Your home!"

"Mother can you explain to me mates?" I ask her.

"Why don;t you ask your father that. Its more of a father son thing." My mother says back as back as she cleans the dishes.

"We are not on speaking terms at he moment." I tell her sitting down at the table.

"What do you want to know?" She asks with a sigh.

I smile.

"How do you know if you've found your mate?"

"Well when you touch them you will feel a tingling sensation and warm in that spot, maybe even a shock, they will always be on your mind and you can't stop thinking about them, also you will begin to become very possesive over them."

"Mom."

"Yes?"

"I think I found my mate."
