The Phantom Thief reader from Hyperdimension tries out his dimensional travel ability (by dimensions, i mean anime, videogames, etc). Y/n finds himself in a war between the tenno and many tyrannical factions.
At the end of Hyperdimension: a Thief's Tale Y/n defeated his evil self, Lucifer. However, this wasn't the end. Lucifer cursed Y/n. This curse would begin once the clock strikes 12AM on a full moon. Once that happens, a 25th hour will begin and monsters called Shadows will attack Y/n and anyone who tries to help him. Once an hour passes and all shadows are defeated the atmosphere and time will return to normal.
Shadows: The Shadows come in many shapes and sizes (they're Persona 3 enemies). They usually represent inverted Tarot Cards. The Inverted Arcana they represent depends on the mask they bear.

Not every shadow wears a mask but will appear in order. (Magician to Hanged Man) Death is the final Arcana.

The Shadow Police is a common shadow. They're also the only shadows who don't represent any Arcana. They are equipped with electric stun batons.

During the dark the world will become a bit greenish. This lasts for an hour and until Y/n defeats the shadows. The time and atmosphere returns to normal after this.
