-Yo man, I said arriving to Ryan.

-Yooo, he said shaking my hand. Are things better with Vinny ? he asked me.

-Somehow, I said laughing. I took my phone out of my pocket and unlocked it. That's weird, look at that, I said showing him yesterday's conversation with Vinny.

-Yo what the fuck, he said laughing. You're a bitch ! Just forgive him already, he said giggling.

-Nah that's way too funny.

I felt arms wrapping around my waist.

I jumped.

-What's way too funny ? a familiar voice asked me.

-Oh god you scared me, I said trying to get out of Vinny's arms.

-Stay here shortie, he said pulling me closer to him.

I sighed while smiling.

-Forgive me, he whispered into my ear.

I desperately laughed.

-Pleaaaaase, he whined before kissing my cheek multiple times.

-Alright, I said rolling my eyes.

-Well shit finally ! he shouted.

-You were too annoying with that, I said tilting my head to see him.

-That was the point. I love youuu, he said kissing my forehead.

I rolled my eyes.

-Well y'all do not stay in conflict that long, Ryan said laughing.

-That's because of him. I wouldn't have forgave him that soon if he didn't harass me, I said rolling my eyes.

-I always get what I want, he said proudly.

[A month later]

My parents were home. They were staying for two weeks.
It was weird when they were here. But the most annoying thing was the fact that Vinny couldn't come.
They didn't know about him yet.
But I think I'm gonna tell them. I mean, I had been with Vinny for five months now.

I ran downstairs. I was determined to tell them. I was a bit nervous, but once I'll tell them, that's gonna be okay.

There were both sitting on the living room's couch, watching TV.

-Mom, dad.

-Yeah ? my mom asked.

-I have something to tell you. I have a boyfriend.

My mom quickly turned to me, surprised.

-That's cool, my dad said still watching his screen.

He clearly didn't care.

-How long have you been together ? my mom asked me.

-Five months.

-Oh okay, she said nodding. Tell me more about him.

-Well, his name is Vinny, he has brown hair and blue eyes, uh... He plays drums in a metalcore band. My parents didn't even know Ryan, Ricky, Chris and Devin had a band together, eh.
