-Is he for real ? Chris asked.

-Yes ! Ryan said happily.

-What's happening ? I asked joining their conversation.

-Ryan was telling me his new friend played drums.

-For real ? I asked.

-Yes ! Ryan said.

-That's so cool ! You didn't struggle that much to find a new drummer.

-We'll ask him to try out, Chris said.

-Yeah sure. When do you want him to try out ?

-Whenever he wants to try out.

-Okay, I'll ask him when does he have free time.

[RYAN'S POINT OF VIEW]

-Vinny ! I called him catching him by his backpack.

He turned around to face me.

-Oh Ryan. You scared me, he said surprised to see me.

-Sorry. Can I ask you something ?

-Sure, what is it ?

-You know, the other day we talked about music and all that stuff. I have a band with my friends and our drummer and friend is soon leaving for LA. Which means there's a spot to fill... Would you be interested ?

-Oh wow. Why not ? I mean I often have free time and I've been searching to play with people for a long time. Why not.

-Damn it I love you. When do you want to try out ?

-Whenever you want.

-Whenever you want.

-Well so... Is right now okay for you ?

-Right now ? It's okay for me but I don't know for the others. I'm gonna call them and ask them.

-Okay.

I grabbed my phone and called Chris.

[PHONE CONVERSATION]

-Yeah. What do you want ? Chris asked me.

-Where are you ? I'm with Vinny and we thought we could make him try out for the band now.

-Now ? Why not. Wait a second, Ricky and Devin are with me, I'm gonna ask them if they can come.

-Okay.

Chris muted his microphone

Chris unmuted his microphone

-That's okay for them. Does he know we have to come at his place ? I mean he's the only one out of us five to have a drum kit.

-Yeah yeah, don't worry.

-Okay, so, where do we meet ? I mean where are you ?

-We're in a corridor but we're getting out as soon as we'll end that phone call. Where are you ?

-We're already outside of the school. We're in front of the gate.
