"just put it on."

"no."

"please, luke."

"michael, why would i need a blind fold if i am already blind?" luke huffed, crossing his arms over his chest in annoyance.

"because it will make it more romantic and meaningful." michael pouted, waving around the folded bandana in his hand.

luke had gotten calum to drive over him to michael's house the next day just had the visually impaired boy had promised. of course, neither of his parents were home and evelyn was probably sneaking around with ashton.

yes, they had gotten back together, much to michael's dismay. of course, evelyn hadn't directly told him, he caught a peek at evelyn's phone at the hospital a few times the 4 days he had been there, and it wasn't that hard to puzzle together. but, of course, he could save his sister from everything.

"don't mess up my hair." he sighed, giving in to michael like he always did.

michael smiled pleasingly before walking behind the blind boy and tying the bandana around his eyes. he, of course, stole the bandana out of evelyn's room, and i think we all know who's it was.

luke felt his cheeks heat up every time michael's fingers brushed against the exposed skin of his neck. michael didn't think much of it, of course, but that's all luke could focus on.

"done." michael mumbled, finishing off the knot.

"wow, i can't see. what's new." the blonde boy muttered, pursing his lips.

"don't be bitter, blind." michael warned, walking back around to face him.

luke grunted in response as he shifted his weight onto his other leg and let out a sigh. the sound of muffled curses and shuffling made it's way to luke's ears as he stood there cluelessly.

"ready?" michael finally said after a few minutes, taking luke's hand that wasn't holding the black cane and giving it a small tug.

luke nodded before taking a step forward and following michael out of the door.

. . . . .

the cool, fall air bit at luke's skin as they both trudged through the forest of michael's backyard, the only sound being the crunch of the leaves beneath their feet and luke's breathing.

they had been walking nonstop for the past 10 minutes (much to luke's disliking), michael being the guide for both of them.

don't get luke wrong, he enjoyed a nice walk every one in a while, but for the most part, he hated any type of excercise. he also didn't appreciate the fact that's cute boy had dragged him out into the woods to do something (potentially) romantic, and all luke could do was try not to pant like a dog.

just as luke thought he was about to collapse of over exhaustion, michael halted to a stop.

"what are you--"

"we're here." michael breathed out, a small smile on his face.

"oh. cool." luke mumbled.

it made him a little jealous that wherever michael had taken him, he wasn't able to see it. he wanted to see the leaves under his feet, not just hear them and feel them. it wasn't the same.

"come on." michael said, tugging him forward, snapping him out of his thoughts.

michael led him further till they were halted once again, and this time, michael un tangled their fingers and left him standing there.
