"I WANT EVERYONE IN THE COMMON ROOM WITHIN THREE MINUTES, WHOEVER ISN'T READY BY THEN WILL FEEL MY WRATH!" Skyler yells over the AI system's communication. It's 4 AM in the morning at the Avengers Facility and Skyler just teleported here, scared to hell.

"Ms. Foster," the new AI, FRIDAY says, "no one is in their beds..."

Skyler's entire world stops and her breath hitches, "Where are they then?"

"They are already in the common room – it seems the facility had an unwished visitor," FRIDAY answers.

"Damn," Skyler whispers, running to the common room. She makes herself invisible with a spell and creates two swords out of black liquid. The young princess slowly walks through the compound.

Out of nowhere, something that looks like a spider's web, attaches her to the nearest wall, "What the hell?" Skyler curses, she's invisible! How can something notice her at this moment?!

"Who are you?" a boyish voice speaks up, revealing a figure that wears a red and blue suit, a black spider on the middle of his chest. Skyler immediately recognizes it as one of Tony's suits, remembering a design she'd seen him working on.

The girl makes herself visible, grinning at the boy that's in the suit, "Hey, I'm Skyler. Who are you?"

"Peter Parker – no, shoot, Spider-Man," the kid stutters, before running over to her and releasing her arm, "I got an emergency message from Mr. Stark... I came as quickly as I could."

"Well, then. Peter, I think we're on the same path, obviously, something happened here," Skyler says. Spider-Man nods at her, pointing at the hall to the common room.

"Some medieval-looking man and weird alien-things are keeping everyone captive in there..." he says. Skyler considers her chances, looking at the swords in her hands.

"I think these aren't really useful at the moment," the girl sighs, making the swords disappear. Skyler kneels forward, putting her backpack on the ground, rambling through her stuff.

"They know I'm here," she explains to Peter, "considering my little stunt a few minutes ago. I suspect that all the Avengers are in there, plus my cousins, Lorelei and probably a few other people. Our best chance to defeat the captors, is to free Cassidy, Thor, Loki, Steve, Natasha and Clint. They are good at one-to-one combat and don't need special attire for it."

"Okay, so I need to free Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Loki and Mr. Stark's daughter?" Peter asks.

"Not exactly. We only need to free a few of them, secretly... I'd say that you keep them busy, distract them, whilst I free Loki, Natasha and Clint. When that's done, you attack the alien-guys and I'll go for the Medieval Bastard," Skyler says with a growl. Peter nods once more.

"I'll make a little show in front of the window, make them laugh at my face, alright?" Skyler chuckles, agreeing with him.

"I like that idea... do your worst," she says, before turning invisible again, sneaking into the common room.

The moments she slips through the broken doors, Skyler feels the magic around her disappear... Urikson must've casted a spell that stops magic from entering the room... shit.

"Ah, look who's finally here, the princess who's unable to keep herself safe!" she hears Urikson laugh, as Skyler is surrounded by weird-looking elves with skins like ash, and cannot see a thing. Dark Elves from Svartelheim.

"You really can't choose a permanent ally, can you Urikson?" Skyler groans, "first you work with Thanos, then you work with Voldemort, and now you work with Dark Elves. Really, pick one."

Urikson chuckles, "I think you'll keep that mouth of yours shut once you realize what I am about to do, princess."

"The fact that you still acknowledge me with princess confuses the crap out of me too," Skyler continues to annoy him, "I mean, just call me Skyler, or Foster, or Thordottír, I don't care, as long as you quit feigning your loyalty to the Royal House of Asgard."

The blonde suddenly pulls out one of her guns and knocks out two Dark Elves that block her view of Urikson... oh, how she wishes she hadn't done that.

Einar Urikson is standing in a circle of bounded Avengers and Asgardians – Skyler notices that Sif and the Warriors Three are there too, great – holding a knife to Jane Foster's throat, as he most likely holds one against her back too...

"OK," Skyler states angrily, "you have two choices, either you release my mother this instant and you might walk away with a few limbs left, or you dare to touch her longer than you've now, and you won't make it out here alive..."

She starts to slowly encircle the group of bounded and gagged Avengers, and Skyler soundlessly drops a little knife at Cassidy Stark's feet, giving the girl time to release herself.

"I think I'll ignore your statement, as you can see: you're greatly outnumbered and your allies are bounded and kneeling at my feet... most of them," Urikson points to a knocked-out Loki and a Thor who is being held by three Dark Elves, his arms bloody and his hands locked in metal fists, so he can't summon Mjolnir, which lies in the corner.

"Time for the prophecy to become reality," Urikson states cruelly, and Skyler raises her eyebrows.

"What about this; you release my mother, or your prophecy will become completely void?" she says, as she puts her gun under her chin, keeping it aimed right at her head. Everyone's eyes widen and they start to protest from behind their gags. Skyler locks eyes with Thor, who looks incredibly distressed, considering that he can't do anything.

"Yeah, then I'll kill her and everyone in this room out of revenge," Urikson retorts, rolling his eyes. He seems a little stressed, though.

"Good point," Skyler says, yet not removing the gun... instead, she loads it and puts her finger on the trigger. Behind her back, she begins to stretch her fingers, her mind begging that one object to obey her, once, "Well, then I assume that I'll see everyone in Davy Jones' locker," she smirks.

Urikson's face starts to panic and he releases Jane unconsciously, and Skyler suddenly throws the gun towards Cassidy, "Give them hell," she says confidently, as the princess herself breaks the glass of the common room with the object she'd been begging for since she saw it not in her father's hands: Mjolnir.

The Dark Elves glare at Urikson, before disappearing in dust, one of them saying: "You promised us no one could wield it besides the God of Thunder."

And just when every conscious Avenger has surrounded Urikson with their weapons aimed for him, he does the unthinkable...

It's a blur to Skyler... and she doesn't remember what happened between that moment and the next, but the only thing she remembers after it, is that she is crying over her mother's dying figure, the brunette caressing her cheeks soothingly.

"Don't cry, love," Jane says, looking at both Skyler and Thor, "never forget that I love you both more than life i-itself... do-don't forget to tell it to Toby as well..."

"Mom..." Skyler cries, and Thor kneels down by his wife, a shocked Loki standing behind him, stunned.

"I-I'm so proud of you..." Jane says with a ragged breath, "never let him win, Sky... never let him get into your mind... that's when he has won..." Skyler nods, kissing her mother's hand.

"J-Jane..." Thor croaks out, "D-don't..."

"Take care of our children, my love..." Jane says, "and give Toby the same treatment as Skyler, her uncle had great influence on her..." she mutters, "I'll always be with you..."

"Y-you're not going anywhere..." Thor cries, tears falling down his cheeks.

"I have to," Jane smiles, before her eyes roll back and her breathing stops.
