Chapt. 8: No Balls

Selena

That night, when everyone was asleep, I got out to have some air.. fortunately for me, Nick was also outside

- Hey!

He looked up and smiled - Hi Selena.. What are you doing here?

- Well.. Demi invited me but I'll only be here for some weeks and..

He chuckled - No.. I mean.. at 4:00 a.m. outside

I blushed - Oh that.. well.. just couldn't sleep

I looked at him and he looked away.. he was so cute!

- Yeah.. me too - he finally said

We stayed that night talking with each other.. he was a really smart guy.. a little quiet but very intellectual

The morning after, I woke up with Demi yelling "REALLY?!"

- WHY? - I heard Demi ask

- It just wasn't right anymore.. so I broke up with her..

I got closer to my door and saw Demi and Nick sat on the couch

- No way! - She said

- Yep.. Guess the first love really isn't forever..

- Wow.. I'm still shocked you broke up with Miley..

- Yeah.. I had a "love at first sight" episode and.. I think I'm going to stick with her

OMG... was that me? Was I the love at first sight? I loved him since the first moment I saw him but.. Did he felt the same?

Demi

When I heard Nick say he broke up with Miley, my hopes got high.. Wow!

Should I go for it? Should I try to make him fall for me the way I felt for him? What about our friendship?

- GOOD MORNING! - I heard Selena shout - Oh sorry.. I didn't knew you were there.. - she said smiling to Nick

- Good morning - We both said at the same time, bursting out laughing after it

Selena went to our middle and clearly started flirting with Nick.. After a few minutes.. I kind if felt like the third wheel.. How could I ever think in trying to date Nick? I'm useless!

I looked at Nick and saw him smiling down at her.. he was happy. He was soo in love with her!

Nick

Days passed and Selena came closer and closer to me.. I really wasn't trying nothing with her.. all I wanted was to speak with Demi..

- So Nick... we've been becoming best friend through the past weeks and..

What was she doing? Why was she making the conversation all sentimental?!

- Do you wanna be my boyfriend?

My eyes widened and I saw Demi from the corner of my eye.. she was watching me carefully and I was suddenly nervous..

I looked at Selena and saw her hopeful smile.. COME ON NICK!!

- Selena.. I..

I hate to see girls sad and Selena's smile started to drop..

- .. Would love to be your boyfriend.. - I said faking a smile

She hugged me and I saw Demi glare at me shaking her head.. she knew I didn't love Selena..

- You scared me!! - She laughed kissing my neck

Demi walked away and I wanted to run towards her

- Sel.. I have to go.. Be right back

She smiled and I ran towards Demi.. What the fuck did I did?!

Demi

I was mad.. not only because he said yes but because I knew he was lying.. I was also sad because.. I blew my only chance away

I looked behind me and saw Nick running so I started running to the exit.. I reached the door but shortly after I opened the door, his arms catched me

- Leave me alone Nicholas

- Please Demi.. let me explain

- You have nothing to explain! You're a fucking guy who has no balls and says things he doesn't mean! - I screamed getting rid of his grip

I ran to my bus and closed the door..

I started to cry as every single lie he told me came to my head.. of course I wasn't beautiful.. of course I was stupid.. I was worthless!

I ran to the bathroom and picked up a blade. I looked at it for a few short seconds and putted it against my wrist

All the emotions came rushing back and I slowly started slicing putting pressure on my skin

All the things I wanted to be popped in my mind as I sliced three times my wrist.. The red blood came out falling to the ground.. How can I get fooled like this?

Nick

Selena and I dated for the rest of the tour and Demi was mad at me.. I couldn't bring myself to say no to Selena.. I knew I had to do it..

She was starting to want kisses and I always said that I had to go to another place.. well, this would stick forever!

- Nick!

I turned around and saw Selena madly walking to me

- Din't you love me?

I opened my mouth and told what I always do.. - Of course I do!

- Then kiss me!

She leaned up and closed her eyes.. what do I do now?

Someone cleared his throat and Selena opened her eyes.. we both looked to our right and saw Demi smiling - I need to talk with Nick.. if you don't mind..

Thank god!!! You saved me Demi

- It's okay - Selena mumbled as Demi took my arm

She pulled me far away from Selena and when we reached a point where we couldn't see her anymore, she threw my arm away from her

- Now get out of my view..

- Demi..

- No! I don't want to hear more lies! I saved you, you're welcome! Now get out of my view..

- I don't want! I miss you! I don't want to lose you!

I looked at her eyes and she took a deep breath - Help me..

She looked away and then put her hands on her hips - What do you want?

- To break up with her.. Nicely

Demi looked at the ceiling and sighed - I'll think about something

- Thank you! - I smiled hugging her

- I'm still mad at you! You're a liar Nick..

- I'm not! I just.. didn't wanted to break her heart!

She shook her head pulling off from the hug - Shut up.. just.. stop talking

She started walking away and I stared at her ass.. she was beautiful.. why can't I just tell her that and kiss her?

Oh yeah.. I have no balls..
