Chapt 6: Comforting

The next week, we started film the final scene and I was sad because, it would also be the last day..

- Action!

Demi entered in the stage singing "This Is Me".. her voice was as perfect as always and I felt butterflies fly inside my stomach

I turned around and got inside my character

- That's the song.. - I said "speechless" turning to Mitchie

- So that must be the girl.. - Nate said, played by Joe

I grabbed a microphone and walked through the stage

- "This is meee!!" - she sang highly and it was my turn

I sang and she looked at me..

She started walking to me and started singing. I was so lost in her eyes for a moment..

- "This is me.." - we sang together lacing our fingers and smiling

She smiled her big shiny smile and I smirked.. yep, I was still lost in her damn eyes..

Everyone cheered and we closed the space between our foreheads and the need of kiss her came back again.. I closed my eyes as my heart started to have an attack.. I was so nervous and really needed for someone to separate us right now or they woul have an even bigger show to the camera..

Why did this felt so right? Was this really me?

- Cut!!! 

Our hands fell down and we hugged as the people started cheering even more.. one more take and it is goodbye..

- Now is just "We Rock" - Maria who played Mitchie's mom said

- This was soo cool! - She said separating from my chest

I unlaced our hands and put both of mine in her shoulders leaning down so that my face was on her level - You are the cool one

She giggled and we hugged again.

We shot the last scene in a week and I felt sad.. I was sad I wouldn't see these people again..

After it all, we all sat on stage and Demi sat in front of us all with a guitar. She started singing a song she wrote and I couldn't take my eyes off of her

She smiled at every single one of us quoting some funny lyrics on her song

I walked back to my cabin afterwards and started packing

I was talking with my brothers about what we were going to do after this.. there were some rumors about getting a Camp Rock tour but they were nothing in concrete

- Hey Nick

I looked at Joe and he smiled pointing to the door

I looked at it and Demi waved. I smiled as I walked to her and opened the door

- You have 5 minutes?

I closed the door behind me and we walked towards the river

- So.. is it a goodbye right?

I put my hands on my pockets. I didn't wanted to say goodbye.. We actually became really close during this movie. I really considered her my best friend and she wasn't someone I wanted to get away from

- It's not.. I mean.. We can talk with each other on the phone right? Just like we use too.. Every single night

She looked down - Yeah.. that would be cool.. I..
