Percy POV:

BOOM!
I couldn't believe it, Leo was gone. All because I had a stupid nosebleed. I looked around for Annabeth and didn't see her. Then, I saw her. Gaea flickering her human form, holding her with a knife to her throat.

"Perseus Jackson, you took everything from me. So know I will take your precious girlfriend from you. Think of it as my last words."

Time seemed to slow down as I saw Annabeth's eyes widen, before I saw a blade sticking out of her. Annabeth dropped to her knees as my vision went red.
I ran a Gaea uncapping Riptide, and started to create a hurricane. I slashed, dodged, rolled, and slashed again. Gaea was soon covered by golden ichor.

"Mercy!" She screamed.

"Did you give Annabeth mercy?" I asked as I drove my sword into her.

Dropping Riptide, I sprinted to Annabeth.

"It's gonna be okay. Stay with me Annabeth. Apollo!" I yelled.

"Percy," Annabeth coughed blood, "live a good life. Don't die for me. I want you live long. Get married. Remember, I love you Seaweed Brain."

Annabeth closed her eyes for the last time as Apollo flashed to us. He bent down, and checked her pulse. He looked down as he got up. Athena started to cry on Poseidon's shoulder as I did the same in her arms.

Third POV:

Over the next three weeks, Percy spent most of his time either in his cabin, or at Annabeth's grave. Nobody saw him except Nico, who told him that Annabeth was in Elysium. Nico also brought Percy his food and helped him cope before Percy decided to see his mom, and have a normal life.
Or so he thought...
