About three months have passed since Russell met my parents.

It's been three months since we became intimate with one another.

It's been the past three months that have drawn us closer to one another, making me all the more grateful to fall in love with a man like him.

Currently, I was packing a bag as I was going to stay at his apartment for the weekend as I promised I would.

Evan and Jennifer had made plans with us to go to yet another dinner. Apparently, she wanted to show me a style she enjoyed very much.

Russell was already here as he wanted to pick me up in his silver car he was given as a graduation present from his parents. Cece had promised to give me a car once college started but I didn't mind receiving it even past that as right now I was not interested in having one as our transportation system was fairly well.

"You ready Jane because Russell sure is." Sam's voice teased me as I walked down the stairs.

My eyes landed on my cousin who I rolled my eyes at as he slightly laughed at me. I walked towards Russell who was engaged in a conversation with my aunt and uncle, about what, no idea.

"Hey you." My aunt called as she took in my outfit as the dinner was less than two hours away. "You two look great together but I'm sure you two already knew that."

I smile and gave my aunt a hug as I knew she just wanted the best for me.

"Thank you." I said. "Are you ready to go meet with your brother for dinner?"

"I am." He spoke. "It was nice seeing you two again and I will be back in a few days to drop off Jane."

Cece gave Russell a hug and then saw the two of us out the door.

Russell and I soon left after saying goodbye. The two of us were talking about what I should expect for this dinner, something I had an off feeling about.

"It'll just be us with Evan and Jennifer again." Russell said as he pulled into his apartment complex. "Jennifer wanted to discuss a few things regarding your culinary progress with her friend."

I nodded my head as I could understand Jennifer's perspective.

"I'm excited to see what exactly this restaurant has in regards to the meal options and preparation." I smiled as Russell open the door of the apartment for me. "Those two little things right there say a lot in itself."

Russell and I soon got ready. It ended up taking way longer than I anticipated as Russell continued to tease me and I did the same to him throughout the process of us two trying to look somewhat decent for the restaurant we're going to eat at.

The tension between us, what we had done and what we continue to want to do, could be felt throughout our eye contact as well as our physical touch.

This was going to be a long night.

"Hey you two." Evan greets Russell and I as we walked to where they stood. "I hope you don't mind if two more people join us."

From the way Evan was looking at me I had a feeling that these two individuals who were joining us would not sit well with Russell.

Russell's right hand was intertwined with my left, keeping us together as we walked towards the two others who awaited us by the table.

"Jane please meet our guests." Evan says to me as Russell tightens his grip on my hand.

A man with brown hair and green eyes who looked somewhat in his early forties greeted me with a smile.
