Lyndsey's Point Of View:
"She knows that she needs to be in here by tomorrow morning, right?" Michelle questioned as Brian and I sat adjacent from her. I rolled my eyes as I placed one leg over the other. Brian looked over to me, hoping that I was the one with the answer to her question.
"I'll let her know, stop worrying about it." I said as I pulled out my phone to check the time. I groaned in boredom when my agent's voice rang into my ear once again.
"This is very serious, Ryan." I looked up at her, my face falling to see that she looked exhausted. "It's not just my ass that's on the line here. I don't think you understand how important this really is... a lot of people could lose their jobs..." Michelle sighed in a depressed tone. I watched as she leaned back in her chair, her eyes closed as she leaned her temple on her finger.
"I said don't worry about it...." I expressed again. I looked back at my phone then back at Michelle who gave me a strange look.
"Do you have somewhere you need to be?" She questioned as she stared at me. I gave her an awkward smile before I put my phone back in my purse.
"Actually I do." I said as pulled out my car keys, stood up, and walked over to the door.
"We aren't done here though." I frowned at the parental tone she was using on me. I looked over my shoulder, showing her a none too kind look.
"Well, we need to be. I told Valerie I would meet her at my place at eleven to help bring her things up." I stated rather quickly.
"Wow, what?" I closed my eyes in annoyance as my hand gripped the doorknob, "What does that mean?" I heard the worry laced in her voice.
"She's going to be staying with Miss. Ryan." I heard Brian explain as I gave her a look. I watched as her eyes became slits as she glared at me. That my friends is when I decided to book it out of there as fast as my legs would allow. I pulled the door open quickly and rushed out even faster.
"Get back here!" Michelle's voice roared at first but faded away as I ran away laughing. I moved quickly down the halls, dodging carts of clothing, people, and randomly placed tables. Let's not forget, I was also wearing stupid heels. When I finally made it to the parking garage I could hear the chime of the elevator and the doors flying open to Michelle and Brian Rushing out of it. My eyes grew wide, 'Oh What the fuck?!' I thought as I was now running even faster to my car. "Stop!" She yelled, her voice echoing off the concrete walls. I just laughed as I jumped into my car, nearly running over Brian as I reversed. I smiled as I sped away, looking at a very pissed off Michelle through my rear view mirror as she yelled at Brian... poor guy. I nearly crashed into another as my phone started to ring. I didn't even bother answering it as her ringtone blew the speakers; Friday the 13th if you were wondering.
Thankfully I didn't live very far from the studio. I looked at the clock as I pulled into my apartment complex's parking lot; 10:50 a.m. I smiled, happy that I wasn't late. As I was about to pull in my spot I found myself unable to. As I look I'm shocked to see a small black beat up car in my way with a girl on top of it; her hands behind her head and a pair of sunglasses covering her eyes. I smiled as I recognized the all too familiar black hair, simple outfit, and of course her boots. I stepped out of my car, shutting the door as I stood in front of her, her ferret laying on her stomach. Both of them seem to be sound sleep. What puzzled me was how they didn't hear me pull up... I mean I own a lotus; they are not exactly quite... I stood there for a moment, probably being what people consider a 'creep' but she this scene was adorable. I couldn't help but smile as I pushed up my sunglasses and pulling out my cell phone. I smirked as her little guy looked up at me, yawning as he looked directly into my camera. I snapped the picture and put my phone back.
