The doctor told me i was ok . all im thinking about is my mom right now . cathie was still here .
Me : can i see my mom ?
Doctor : you can in a little while
Cathie : does she need any kind of anything so she wont get infected
Doctor : no ma'am . just make sure that she keeps that area clean and she should be fine
I nodded my head . i want to see my mom so bad . The doctor went out the room .
Cathie : i have your mom's phone right here . do you know anybody you can call ?

Derrick's P.O.V
I got a phone call from Lauren .
Me : excuse me boss
Boss : you have 5 minutes
Me : yes sir
I answered the phone . when i answered it , i heard a voice that wasnt lauren's .
Phone Conversation :
Me : hello ?
? : derrick ?
Me : whose asking ?
? : its liberty . mom is in the hospital
Me : HOSPITAL ?
Boss and jeremiah looked at me .
Liberty : *starts crying* yes
Me : im on my way now . what room is she in ?
Liberty : i dont know . my room is room 244
Me : ok . calm down and stay there

I zoomed fast as hell to the hospital . Alot of shit was going through my mind . i hope its nothing bad .
I went to liberty's room and saw some white women there .
? : hi im cathie . im the neighbor
Me : im derrick . why are yall here ? where is lauren ?
Cathie : do you want me to tell him ?

Cathie : but then i noticed alot of money on lauren's floor

DID LAUREN TAKE THE MONEY ? Then again shes a stripper so its probably her stripper money . i let that problem go . but the real problem is that lauren and liberty are in the hospital .
The doctor came in the room . i shook his hand .
Doctor : hi sir are you the father ?
Me : no sir im her mom's friend

Liberty : can we see her ?

We all got up and followed the doctor . He led us to lauren's room .

she ran and hugged lauren . I feel so bad because i wasnt there to protect them . Lauren started crying and her heart rate went up .
Doctor : now lauren , ima need you to calm down . im going to give you some oxygen and i need you to breathe in and out from it so you can calm down
They put and oxygen mask on her and she started calming down . The doctor left out the room and cathie told us good night and left .
Me : tell me what happened
She told me what happened from beginning to end .
Lauren : i saw $3,000 fall out his pocket
That right there is what made my eyebrows rise .
Me : $3,000 ?
Lauren : yes whats wrong ?
Me : my boss told me that we are $3,000 short
Lauren : *sighs*
I texted boss and told him what lauren told me .
Lauren : liberty what happened when i was blacked out ?
Liberty : he kissed me and he put his finger in me
I looked at the face of lauren . She looked like she was about to start crying again . i went over to hug her and kiss her on her forehead .
Me : its ok . i'll protect yall
