Chapter 12- The Second Video

Luna POV

I passed out from the pain of my ribs breaking last night. I wake up from cold water being dumped onto me. "AH WHAT THE FUCK MAN?!?!" I scream in shock at the man above me. 

Without any emotion, he grabs my arm and drags me to another empty room, with shitty lighting and just one chair in the middle of the room. He shoves me down, tying up my hands and ankles. I look up, noticing the video camera is now in this room. 'I'm literally going to skin this man alive before setting him on fire to burn a slow slow painful death.' I think to myself, kind of amused as I picture it in my mind. 

Kaiden comes strolling in, "Good morning beautiful." I spit at his feet, I don't give a shit if he's going to beat me, I will not falter and I will fight until my last dying breath. I will not go down without a fight. Anger flashes over his face, and before I am prepared for it, he punches me in the face, over and over. By the time he's done, my eye is already swollen shut, my mouth is bleeding, and I can tell he's most likely broken my cheekbone. 

"You done acting up bitch?" 

I answer his question with a laugh so hollow and scary, that I feel like a psychopath myself. "Fuck you." 

My breath gets knocked out of me as he hooks me right in the non-broken side of my ribs. I almost bite off my tongue to hold my screams in. But I will NOT give him the satisfaction of screaming. Once I get my breath back, I just stare at him in the eyes with an emotionless but terrifying look. 

Once again, I have to bite my tongue as he stabs a knife into my thigh, before yanking it out, and then sliding it down my back, leaving cuts that will probably leave permanent scars. Still, I stay silent. 

Dante POV

We are loading the car in Italy when my phone pings, and I open an anonymous text that has a link. I get my men's attention, we turn our attention to the screen and I click the link. It leads us to a live feed of an empty room with a chair. 

He's live recording his torture. I know I have to watch and listen to pick up any extra information. My beautiful wife is being manhandled as a big man sits her down and ties her to the chair. I can see her wince in pain, as she sits. Next thing I know, I am watching Kaiden beat her repeatedly. I can sense she's in terrible pain when I look into her eyes, but she's determined to deny him the satisfaction of screaming in pain. 

My woman is fucking tough. She shouldn't have to endure this, whatsoever, but she's not going down without a fight. 

I cringe at him stabbing her and cutting her with a knife, and my eyes tear up and the look on her face. She wants to scream, but won't give into it. 

"FUCK, Queen is a fucking tough bitch! I taught her fucking well" Vito yells out, almost as if he's rooting at a game for her. He would be the only one to compliment someone's pain threshold. The video turns black, shutting off. 

"HURRY THE FUCK UP!" I order our driver. I need to rescue the love of my life. 

Narrator POV

"Why are you doing this?!" Luna thrashed around in the chair she was tied to, looking for anything she could use to her advantage.

"Because I loved you! And if I can't have you, NOBODY CAN!" Kaiden answered, venom laced in his voice.

Luna's evil smile appeared across her beautiful face, "you really think you'll get away with this? Are you delusional, or just that fucking stupid?" She spat back at him. "I'm the fucking Queen of the Mafia! Dante will hunt you down and rip you to shreds until you beg him to have mercy on your pathetic soul..." Luna's words were cold as ice, "and only then, will he laugh in your face at your pleas as he rips out your heart from your chest."

"ENOUGH!" Kaiden screams, flustered and annoyed, "I'll give you one last chance to change your mind, marry me. I'll give you everything you could ever ask for."

Luna's fearless face stays intact as she answers, "you already gave me everything I could ever ask for, you introduced me to Dante."

With that Kaiden backhands her, causing her to spit out blood. She looks at him straight in his eyes, "go to hell."

And with that, Kaiden pulls the trigger.
