Do you know what it's like to have your life changed in a blink of an eye?

Never would I have ever imagined myself in this situation.  I mean for God's sake, what the heck does he mean werewolf?  Looking into this incredible boy's mesmerizing blue eyes, I couldn't help but feel torn up inside.

"Why do we have to move mom? Please, I just got settled down in this school. Please, please, please don't make me start over again. Please!!!"  I begged my mom as she finished packing the rest of our belongings while my dad was putting everything else in the car.  I knew it was too late and that there was no point in asking, no scratch that pleading with my parents into not move again.

"Scarlett, we're not having this conversation again."

You see the thing is my family is always moving around. And when I say always, I mean always! UGH. Its always so frustrating, but this time its completely devastating.  This is the only place we stayed over 6 months and I was actually starting to get my hopes up.  I knew it was stupid to get too comfortable in one place.  God! Why did I have to make an amazing friend.  I know I'm not going to get to see him very often now, but over the past 6 months Eddie has become one of the closest friends I've had in my life.  Come to think of it, he was probably the only friend I had. WOW, how pathetic right? I pity myself right now.

I jumped as my phone started vibrating.  I looked at the screen and couldn't help but grin at the name that popped up.

"Hey you."

"Scar," I could hear the grin in his voice as he said my name "Come outside, I'm right here." And he hung up just like that.  This boy knows how to shut me up fast.

I ran down the stairs.  I was a bit surprised considering how Eddie seemed to hate coming over.  Gee I don't know if it was my mom's cooking or my dad's death glare.  Just kidding my mom's food was amazing.

As soon as I was out the door I ran straight into him. "Hey Klutz, watch where you're going," he said smirking at me.

"Well jerk, watch where you're standing.  You know it's very unsafe to stand in a doorway.  Could lead to a lot of dangerous things.  Well maybe you'd be safe during an earthquake," I said thoughtfully, "but that's about it.  You know...."

"SHUT UP."

I laughed because I knew he hated whenever a girl just rambled on and on. I did it mainly to annoy him; I never really did it until he told me once after one of his "friends" kept talking when they were just "hanging out".  Eddie was such a player, that's kind of how we became friends, I know weird right?  He tried to hit on me on my first day, I told him to shove it up his ass and we became friend.

"Scar, I'm going to miss you so much," his voice was thick with emotion, it made my heart break.  I grabbed him into a tight hug because no words would describe how much I trusted and cared about this boy in front of me.

"Don't say it like that Eddie because believe it or not, you're going to come visit me every weekend.  I don't care if you disagree."

"I know. God you're so bossy, it's sexy," he smirked at me "but, seriously it's not going to be like seeing you everyday, you know?"

"Yeah I know and it doesn't help that you don't even step into my house," I gave a meaningful look so he'd know how much I wanted to know the reason behind it.
