Judging by Zoey's smirk she was thrilled by my shock, she was testing me. Given she knew Alistair never dated a girl from our school before, and even really asciotated with them in the first place, or any of the guys really for that matter she wanted to see if me and Alistair had something going on.

My mouth quivers to say something, "...Well - uh, you know... I don't really know if you're his type,"

She smiles, placing her hands on her hips, "Sweetie, I'm everyones' type. Look. I'm willing to make a deal. Your popularity back in trade for getting me and Alistair together." she twirls her hair and observes her nails.

She was right -she could honestly be anyones type, her and her hourglass figure, pinstraight strawberry blonde hair, and everything else on her that was perfect.

I think for a minute. Did I really want to be popular? After seeing how quickly it can be taken away and given it seemed as if it was nothing of true use. All I felt I wanted now was my life in the shadows. For me just to be Fallon. Not Fallon Westlake - the girl who up and changed in the begginning of the year, and is now a major slut.

              "No deal," I say slowly.

She looks appauled, and that made me feel like I had a bit more control of the situation. "I want nothing from you in return - well nothing too big. I just want you to leave me alone, and give me my own life back. Let me slip back into the shadows, and never acknowledge me again."

She raises and eyebrow, and her mouth pops into a little o. "Wow Fallon, that's way more than I asked for! Thanks! I guess we have a deal?" she extends her perfectly manicuted hand to shake mine. I felt like I was making a deal with the Devil - this was risky.

"Deal," I mutter limpy shaking her hand.

"Great doing buisness with you Fallon," she turns on her heel.

"Wait!" I call out before she leaves. "What if he doesn't want you - I mean, what if something goes wrong?"

She gives me a sarcastic empathetic smile, "Oh Fallon, nothing will go wrong if you do everything right," she puts her hand over her heart and mends her eyebrows together.

            "And if anything goes wrong..."

"I'll make your life a bigger  hell," she beams brightly. "Don't screw up." she opens the bathroom door, and walks out. It was official - I had made a deal with the Devil, and I was in deep, deep, trobule.

                                                                         ~ ~ ~

In order for me to get Zoey closer to Alistair I must find out more about them so I can see what is relateable with them.

Alistair drives me home in silence, and as I contemplate more, it seems the only way I'm going to get them together is snooping around in Alistairs brain which honestly must be like Compton or something. Something so dark even the brightest of flash lights couldn't help me see through him clearly.

I look over at him, bit my lip, and look out the window.

Now what exactly would I ask?
