~Chapter 31~

The soft melody was amplifying throughout the huge space as the champions started to walk in with their dates, everyone else already inside.

"Maybe we could still run?" It was their turn. "Too late now Styles. Act normal like this is actually normal."

As eyes fell onto the last couple, them being Harry and Louis, everyone gasped loudly but neither of them did anything. Louis felt his hands getting clammy, from literally everyone staring and whispering. Harry's hold tightened on his hand so he squeezed back, trying to show him that it will be fine. But will it?

They reached the middle dance floor and Harry stopped in front of him. "Lou I still have no idea how to dance." He's never seen the curly-haired lad more panicked and that was sort of amusing. He's fine with dragons, Basilisks and crazy Azkaban murderers but is afraid of a little dance.

"I'm right here, just follow my lead." Harry nodded and grabbed his hand with one of his own, while resting the other on Louis' waist.

"Move your hand up Styles, I'm not a girl." It was a tad bit awkward at first neither really knowing where to put their hands but they ended up with an absolutely comfortable form where they held each other's shoulders with Harry's hand folding over Louis' from the outside.

The music of their dance started and they moved together. Harry wasn't as bad as he painted it and only stepped on his toes once or twice. He was good at doing as Louis tells him though so they had no problems. After the headmaster and McGonagall, more and more people started to dance.

Rita Skeeter was having the time of her life, taking so many pictures of the two but Louis only smirked. He slowly started to guide Harry towards the edge and at just the right moment they fled the scene.

He was holding the taller lad's hand tightly, pulling him with and they were definitely seen by a lot but not as many as he'd consider a fail. They will certainly succeed this way, being just sneaky enough.

They didn't stop until they reached their little bathroom spot where Louis finished off the potion fully. Harry simply stood by watching him grab a cupcake and pour it all over the sweet.

"I think that wasn't too bad, your godfather will surely have a few words with you and criticise your horrible taste in men but other than that I think everyone was plainly shocked."

"Well if we make this work then no one will need to think too hard why we did what we did."

He got up and connected their hands again. "Let's do this."

Harry followed him back but someone was coming so Louis pushed him behind a tapestry, slipping through as well.

"We also should really steal those pictures."

"We will." Louis smiled faintly, wanting to calm him down. This will work, it has to.

Suddenly the tapestry slipped to the side and Louis had no idea what else to do. His first reaction was technically an instinct and all that ran through his head was cupcake. They needed to hide the cupcake.

He wasn't even sure who was there as he pushed himself against Harry, making him groan as his back hit the cold stone wall and slipping his hand behind his back, concealing the fact that he was holding something.

He realised that it was nothing but odd, that position making no sense at all so he figured to just play along with their love story.

He attached his lips to Harry's neck, murmuring so the git would start to act. "Just go with it."

He felt his huge hands gripping his waist, maybe a little tighter than necessary, pulling him even closer.

Harry wasn't able to fully register anything. He saw the tapestry slipping to the side, he saw Louis' panicked face and his gaze averting to the dessert in his hand.

The next thing he knew, he was holding Louis close who kept kissing along his neck, biting his lips so he wouldn't make this into the tragedy of his life by doing something stupid. Something like moan.

His eyes locked onto Snape's truly not getting how he was always everywhere in the worst times and also feeling exceedingly uncomfortable right away. He tensed and oddly still needed to fight with himself but he pushed Louis away.

"It's just your godfather, want to get us out of trouble now?" Louis pulled back right away, breathing heavily. Harry missed the contact right off, even though nothing about this was okay, it was still the best thing he's ever felt. The tiny lad was so amazing and his soft, thin lips gently nibbling on his skin really did things to him.

"Severus we were just..."

"May I have a word with you Mr. Tomlinson?"

Harry blinked dumbly and felt the muffin getting pushed into his hand Louis removing his arms from around his torso. The tall boy cleared his throat not sure why, he wasn't about the talk and exited the tiny balcony backing away from the pair. As soon as he was outside he didn't know what to do so he stood to the side awkwardly, waiting for the feathery-haired lad to come out as well.

He flinched, getting lost in a thought as the colourful painting was yanked to the side, after a hard glare Snape strutted down the hall not saying a word. Louis also came out, smiling upon seeing the curly-haired lad.

"What did he want?"

"Exactly what you thought Styles, he told me that I have a horrible taste." Louis got immensely close to him, his chest almost touching Harry's. With a happy laugh he pulled back and grabbed his hand, making him follow.

"It's time to cause some trouble."
