You know when its Friday and then you realized that the week went by way faster than you thought it would. That is my current situation. Though it has been 2 weeks not just one.

Elijah got out of the hospital and him and Sarah on not on the brightest terms still.They have the oddest friendship. Is it even a friendship? Who knows. 

I put my light brown cardigan over my black top and grab my cellphone and keys. 

I'm hanging out with Xander today.Once he broke up with his girlfriend nothing really changed between us. He tends to not be with me for  reason. Always avoiding eye contact. 

But what can I do?

After getting to the park we were supose to meet up in I head to a clear bench and wait patiently. Not even a minute after he gets here and sits beside me.

" Hey how are you?" He asks playing with his hands nervously.

"I'm doing good. I have a break from the hospital now. Just about 2 weeks I think" I tell him while looking at the geese about 15 feet away from us.

" G-Good" He stutters " I have to tell you something, but promise you won't get mad" 

I nod " I'm not promising anything but go on" 

He takes a deep breathe in and starts to speak. 

" You know how uhmm. wolves have mates" He asks . I nod.

" Well I didnt know this until after I found I was to be the next alpha,but had already found my mate" He comments and looks into my eyes. " It's you. That's why I felt what I felt the first time I saw you under the bridge" 

 I stare at him in pure shock not believing him at all.

" Say something?" He asks with his amazingingly beautiful eyes staring at me.

" I'm your mate? you have been hiding the fact that I was your mate from me?!" I whisper-yell at him.

"yes,but I just didn't want to scare you away. I'm so sorry" 

"No, stop talking! I have had feelings for you ever since before that kiss we had and I thought we would never be a thing. I have had the worst crushing feeling everyday and when I'm finally okay to move on you tell me this" I tell him

Yes, you heard right. This man is the person I have had feelings for. Something big attracted me to him and a week ago when I decided that a handsome man like him would never go for me, I moved on. Well I'm trying.

I can't seem but be mad with him. I am filled with annoyance and hatred for some reason. I can't really control it.

I stand from the bench. " I'll see you another time.Maybe" I mutter and walk away from a shocked Xander.

"Lucero!! why!" Sarah yelled at me. 

" I don't know! I was feeling lied to. I couldn't control it. I helped him so much and he hid something big from me" I explain with hiding my face into my bed pillow. " Can we not talk about this anymore??" 

" Fine. Lucero?" Sarah's tone gets serious and I know its time to listen.

I sit up against the pillows on my bed and nod at Sarah, showing her my attention is all on her.
