-Lucero's Pov-

"Soldiers, you can kill them now!" Karmen exclaims.

Wait what?!

"Karmen what are you doing!" I yell towards her with anger and rage.

"What I should of done when I found out there were more like me. I need to be the only one." She yells while pointing at herself.

"Why are you going to kill my friends in the process?" 

"Because they will try to kill me!" She screams as if annoyed.

I start to think of a way to get out.

I feel someone tugging at my tied hands.

" Save your friends" I hear a deep male voice say.

A soldier let me go quietly. I turn to him. He was one of the guys that cut his hand and I cured him.  I nod and he lets Evan go.

We act like we are still tied up. Karmen starts to walk towards us, he loose hair flying out of her face.

I look at her straight in the eye.

I curl my fists, I throw a punch to catch her off guard.

"Get the soldiers Evan!" I exclaim.

The friendly soldier has gone inside the building, hopefully he is safe.

Evan runs and starts fighting the 4 soldiers around my friends.

Karmen grabs my throats and gets on top of me.

I start to have trouble breathing.

I reach for her shoulder. I find her pressure point and make her arm weak, thank god for self-defense classes.

I stand up and she quickly recovers to her two feet.

"You think you can win right?" Karmen asks

"I do"I say bravely.

I start to protect my body. I have what is called a protective shield. It is not strong but whatever Is aimed at me will not hurt me as much as it would to another.

" why? You have nothing, no family!!" She exclaims.

"I have my friends, I have love, I have hope. Something you do not" I say.

Her jaw tightens slightly.

"Lucero watch out!", I hear Sarah yell.

I look around but it is too late. I was hit. I land on the floor, my head burning. Karmen threw a pole at me!

I get up very dizzy.

I turn instantly to my friends. Karmen is walking toards them. Sarah is untied and they are untieing the rest.

I run towards karmen ready to attack.

I grab a sword that was on the ground and tackle her, stabbing her along the way. I try to find her knife, too.

She gasp in pain and uses her force to push me off. She take the sword out and starts to heal herself. I get up on my feet and rush to my friends. Standing about five feet in front of them.

"You can't win" I tell her and run to tackle her again.

She hits me and I hit her too, we use our strenths to fight one another. Evan has untied everyone, they need to get to safety.

"Guys run!" I exclaim.

"We will not leave you!" I hear Percy yell.

I was about to yell out something when I was push to a wall with full force. My back was starting to ache. My ponytail was a mess I might add.

I breathe in and out trying to get my tired state back to normal.

The sun huts my face, I look at karmen about 10 feet from me and I start to get anxious. I don't have much power. I spot her knife on her waist and try to move it.

I can't.  It must be protected with a spell.

Someone starts to fight her. I cant make out who it is. This person end up on top of her.

My blurry vision getting the best of me, I only make out a guy.

After a couple minutes I start to get my strenth back.

"Yes!" I hear someone yell. I look towards Karmen and see she has been stabbed with the knife. She is dead.

I stand up, weakly. 

Everyone runs to me and hugs me. I hug them back.

"You okay?" RoseEl asks me.

I nod and turn to Xander. Tears run down my cheeks and I attack him with a hug.

"I'm sorry!" I sob.

"Its fine,its fine, you're okay and I'm okay, thats what matters."

I have the urge to kiss him, but I get stopped by a gasp.

I turn and see that is was RoseEl.

I walk to her, painfully leaving Xander.

She is on her knees. Percy on the floor.

It was him

He killed Karmen.

His chest is bleeding and he is gasping for air. Karmen had hurt him.

"He's dying! NO NO NO, Percy!!!" RoseEl yells.

She tries to stop the blood with her sweater but it is no use.

I start to panic. I get on the other side of percy and remove the slightly soaked sweater from his chest.

"What are you doing?" RoseEl asks.

I put both my palms on Percy's chest. I feel the warm blood on my hands and I try not to cry.

I focuse and try to heal him.

It slightly works, but its not good enough.

He Is dying and the wound is too big. I don't know if I can do this.

Tears start to run down my cheeks again.

"C'mon! Percy please!" I exclaim.

"Don't go! Please, RoseEl needs you. Stay with me!" I yell and try to heal him again.

I blow my bangs out of my face and concentrate. After a while I feel my body get weak.

1 minute of all my strenth put onto Percy I start to feel faint.

I give a last push to healing him and I feel my body give up.

Someone catches me when I fall.

"Lucero wake up!" I hear someone say but my mind completely shuts off after that.
