Chapter 31: Be Truthful

~Seth~

We were riding in the car as I wanted so badly for Robert to fasten the pace.
"Can I drive now?"
Asked Eli who sat up in the passengers seat.

"Are you 18?"
He sighed. "Then no."

"Come on your driving is so depressing." He said and I bit my cheek from trying not to laugh.

"I'm older than all of you, so that means I drive."

"Not true, me and you are about the same age." Said Winston.

"Whatever, you don't count."

"I'm 18." I spoke up and they all look at me.
"Good for you." Said Tony.

I roll my eyes at him.

Then I loaded my gun and jammed it back in my back pocket.
"You ok?"
Asked Charlotte. She was sitting right next to me.

"Sure."

"I'm serious Seth."
I then look down at her blue eyes.
"Honestly? No."

"Anything I can do to help?"
I shake my head.

She then puts her palm over mine. ''We will find her, and save your brother. No matter what happens."

I then stared at her this time and look over at the front of the car to see Eli glaring at me.
Protective much?

"Ok so how are we supposed to know where he is?" Asked Robert, "I don't know where I'm going."

"I'll do a locater spell." Said Charlotte as I watched her take the same necklace off when she tried to locate Venus before.

"Alright I'll stop." Said Robert, and I shushed everyone up so she concentrated.

Then her eyes opened up after a few minutes went by.
"Found her. But it's weird at the same time, I can't see her."

"She must have a spell over her, Aron must have done something to make sure she's not found."

I then rub my eyes with frustration and pull my gun out. "Let's go."

They all look at me like I'm crazy. "Now! Before she loses it!"
I shouted and Robert started the car as we drove off.

A few minutes passed and Charlotte lost the connection. "Oh no."

"Wait I think I see a house! Or some crappy barn."
Said Winston.

We all jump out of the car and had to walk a mile before getting to it. The barn was pretty huge. In the middle of no where.

"Why do you think he would bring her here?"
I whisper as I tightened my grip on my gun.

"I never seen this place before."
Spoke Cameron behind my ear.

We all his our weapons and then reached the barn. I slammed the doors open and I see Aron standing there.

''Hey brother, oh brother 2." He points to Cameron.

"What gives me the honor of you trespassing on my territory?"
He said now serious.

I walk up to him searching around for Venus when I see her in the corner in a cell.

"Let her go!"

''I can't do that Seth, she and I made a deal. Right?"

She stares at me with those green eyes. ''As long as you guys don't try to save him and you leave him alone, and I stay with him here. He won't hurt anyone."

Then I got mad and took out my gun without thinking.
"Seth no!" Yelled Venus crying.

I shot Aron in the head three times an then the chest. "Seth stop!"
Cameron pushed me down and I stare up at Aron.

He was still standing. He pulls the first bullet out of his head. Like it was no problem. Then the three and picks me up.

"You know I just noticed I was right. You love my girl."

"No I don't let me go!"

"Enough lies, you love her."
I struggle in his grasp.

''The deal is still on brother. Go home. Don't try to save me and whatever you guys are planning don't do it."
He dropped me as those red eyes were staring into my soul. Maybe they were.

"Oh and drop your weapons."

"We don't have-"
He cut me off.

"I can read your mind."
Then we took out our weapons dropping them to the floor sliding them towards him.

I slammed mine to him. "Easy now. Want me to turn you into a frog?"

Venus looks over at Winston and looked surprised.

He chuckled and I shake my head at him. "You will remember this, and then one day your going to regret it. Because you've realized you lost the only family, the only people that love you. Over power, and darkness."

Then I moved past everyone angry as heck I might punch whoever tried stopping me.

Then we all drove back to the house in silence.
