Lance sat down ignoring the looks he was getting and looking at the floor. He didn't wanna meet any eyes. He didn't want to be met with judgement. Allura sighed seeing the boy so broken. She had treated him so badly before then she slowly warmed up to him over time. Yet, she had let horrible about how she used to treat him. Though she felt worse seeing all the looks of pity he was getting. So she sent everyone, except Keith out of the room. "Lance is it true?" Allura asked kindly as she dropped down to look at Lance. Lance bit his lip as his hands began to shake from how bad his nerves were. "What's true?" He asked, his voice shaking slightly. "Do you have a child back on earth Lance?" Allura asked. Her hands slowly slipped on top of his which somehow began to calm him down. "Weakling. Get over it already." Lance closed his eyes sucking in a breath. Ever since he had come out of the closet he had a voice in his head. It told him when he was never good enough. It told things he did like how they were. It told him what others thought of him. So to Lance, it told the truth. "I-Yes." Lance sighed looking into her eyes. Allura didn't look very shocked but, gave a kind smiled to try and help. Lance's eyes were full of such hopelessness. "She hated you. She's just pitying you now!" The voice in the back of his head scream at him. Lance looked down again nervously. "Why not tell us?" Allura asked. "What am I supposed to say to everyone. Hey guys you know those teen's who have kids in high School?" Lance asked looking like he was gonna vomit. The Paladin couldn't even finish his thought. He hated saying he was a teen mom and he didn't need Allura to know his other secrets. "What's a high school?" Allura asked with a smile trying to cheer up Lance a little bit. Truth be told though Pidge had told her about a high school before and she hated it. Why would you go to school only to get your head thrown in a toilet?! Yet Lance gave a sad smile anyways. A smile which made Allura's heart hurt yet, it made Keith's heart hurt more. "It's a place you go to learn heavier and more advanced material from the age of 14-18. Once you get done there you can either go get a job or go to another school to further your education which will help you get a better job." Lance explained leaving out his personal experience in the definition. Though he did want to add more. "When the War's over maybe I can come to earth for a bit and go in a high school!" She smiled. Lance's worked froze as he remembered how the show Alf (someone please tell me if I spelt that right) , ended. "Maybe you shouldn't come to earth right away." He stated as his face began to darken as other memories ran threw his head. "Okay but I really wanna meet you child. We found a picture book of him. My lord Lance he's the cutest child in the whole galaxy! He had the tannest skin I have ever seen on a child and the brightest eyes as well!" She smiled cooing as the image of Daniel went in her mind. Despite how bad his thoughts were right now he smiled hearing his son's name. He loved Daniel and couldn't help but smile hearing his name. "He's the most perfect baby I've ever seen." Lance smiled up at her. For a moment his eyes were full of life again. Then something hit him and he looked down. "So if you don't mind me asking, how did you have him Lance?" She asked playing dumb for a moment. To be honest she was curious on how a male had a child biological but, she had seen it before. She was an alien after all. So alien's sometimes reproduce differently. A lot of times surprisingly eggs were involved. Lance didn't look at her. The voice in his head began screaming about how much she'd judge him. Keith sighed walking over. Then he placed a hand on Lance's shoulder. Lance jumped before looking at Keith. Keith gave a supportive smile to Lance. "I mean I didn't know if you humans laid eggs or not. I mean for all I know they just poof right out of you! I mean they could possibly explode out of your stomach as well! Or maybe you grow cabbages and just watch them grow into people." Allura thought a loud as she began to wonder. Lance burst out laughing which made Keith smiled brighter. "We don't grow cabbages. We reproduce like Alteans." Lance gave a small smile. "Oh. Then how did you have a child if you're a male?" She asks. Lance took in a deep breath. This wasn't how he imagined coming out to Allura. "I-I was born a girl b-but I am a boy." He gulped nervously. Allura squeezed his hands lightly to give some support making him look at her. She was smiling still but, in a more supportive way. "We had a few people like that on my home palest Lance. One of my best friends was born a male and identified as a girl. I used to give her my large poofy dresses to wear when she came over. They didn't have the same rights as as yet though. Not until mu father walked in on her changing once as we talked about crushes. Afterwards he made it legal for those kinds of people to get married, adopted kids, even get their privates changed to the part they wanted. So I what you to know that if we find more Alteans and if we don't that we, my species and the others, will support you and love you no matter what." Allura explained. Lance looked up at her graininess a few tears on his eyes. Then he jumped forward and hugged her tightly. Allura yelped before she began laughing while hugging him back. "You should be hugging Keith. You're boyfriend's been missing you for a long time." She smiled. Lance blushed before looking at Keith who we also blushing. "Oh come on boys! I am not blind! I see how you two look at each other." Allura smirked standing up. Lance smiled at her standing up before hugging Keith. Keith hugged him back almost instantly. "So when can I meet your son, love?" Keith asked with a smile. Lance laughed a a tiny blushed spread across his face. Allura smiled turning to legal the room. That was when Pidge raced in. "Guys we got another problem!" Pidge yelled as her eyes filled with fear. Allura looked over as her heart speed up. "What is it Pidge?" Allura asked. Pidge gulped. "We just got a call from the blade about a new prisoner. Guys, they have Lance's son." Dun dun dun! Now picture time!
