"The Jerk" Flirting With Me

In an hour, I got ready. I took a shower.

I put on a black crop top with a high waisted red skirt. I had blue booties.

I redo my messy bun again. Then I put makeup on.

Why am I putting on makeup? This is Junior. I don't know why but I want to look pretty before he gets here.

I got downstairs. My dad was working at his law firm. Michael had Saturday classes at college. Only my mom and Nicholas were here.

"Hey? Why are you looking pretty all of a sudden?"

"Because Junior is coming over."

"Oh, that cute guy from yesterday?"

"Yeah, him."

"Do you like him Steph?"

"Maybe."

"You wouldn't be looking all cute for him if it was a maybe?"

"Ok mom, I think I like him."

"Aw! My little Steph has a crush."

"Mom!"

"Sorry sweetheart, You guys would look cute together."

"Really mom?"

"Yes sweetie and besides he's cute!"

"Yeah he is. But he's always been a jerk. I don't know why he started to be nice to me all of a sudden."

"It's so obvious sweetie. He likes you."

"You think so?"

"Yes sweetie."

We always have our girl talk. She's like my other best friend but instead she's my mom.

I tell her everything and I always come to her for advice whenever I need it. I love her!

"Please don't tell dad or Michael or Nicholas."

"I swear sweetie. I won't."

"Thanks mom! I love you!"

I hugged her.

"I love you too sweetheart."

Suddenly the doorbell rang,

I got a text from Junior.

J: Steph I'm here outside.

"Mom he's here."

"Ok sweetie. Have fun studying."

"Thanks mom!"

I opened the door, he was standing in my porch.

He was wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans. He takes off his shades and puts them over his head.

"Hey Steph! You look pretty."

"Thanks."

"Hey Mrs.G. How are you?"

"I'm fine and you?"

"I'm fine thanks."

"Mom, We're going to be upstairs!"

"Ok sweetie. If you guys need anything, let me know. Junior, help yourself at home."

"Thank you Mrs. G."

We go upstairs.

Then Nicholas comes in the hallway.

"Hey Nicholas!"

"Hey! Are you here to tell me about football practice?"

"No little man! I'm here to help your sister with homework."

"Ok phew! Well gtg!"

"See ya little man!"

We went to my other living room. We got started on our assignment. He started staring at me.

"What?" I blushed.

"Has anyone ever told you that you have beautiful big eyes?"

I blushed, "Um, I get that alot."

"Well it's true. You do have beautiful eyes."

"Thanks."

Then he comes near me. I felt that he was going to kiss me. But I was wrong.

"I'm sorry for calling you nerd before."

"It's okay Junior."

"No I mean it. I'm so sorry."

"Apology accepted."

"Next Monday, is our last day to turn in our thing for Mrs. D. right?"

"Yup."

"I'm going to miss Joshy."

"Why?"

"Because he's our kid."

He sounded so cute when he said that.

"Well our 'fake baby' actually."

"Yeah, but I'm still going to miss him."

At five in the afternoon, he left.

I had Joshy with me this time.

I had butterflies in my stomach when he told me that I had beautiful eyes. I mean I've had guys tell me that before.

But the way he said it and the way he stared at me. I was waiting for him to kiss me again. But he didn't.

I realized that I like him. Alot, Yeah me, Steph likes Junior Perez also known as "The Jerk."
