Redeemer Poem
Outside billowing clouds of white and grey
Cover the sky and seem to say
Stay inside
Dry and warm
For just another day
I know it soon will be glorious hot
And that we always wish for what we have not got
But I want to leave it soon
My place deep inside me cocoon room
Meanwhile though I will take from my books all that can be taught
It seems like it has been such a long long time
Since there was some time that was really mine
Now I am loving the sweet cool breeze
That whispers in the trees
And as my mind wanders I dare to dream of cheese and wine
I wish you dear reader were here with me
To join my gazing at the sky so you could see
The power, glory
The never-ending story
Of the night sky hiding in between the leaves
A taste of orange pekoe at my lips
The slight bulge of indulgence at my hips
But a true happiness
Near to total bliss
Of sitting writing poetry and eating chips
This little neighborhood that I call home
Has finally given me a little time to call my own
A tender kiss
A silent wish
A prayer to my savior Lord and a dedicated poem

Hello and thanks for checking out my writing! I love to write poems and love it even more when others read them. Because of this, I have put my two poetry collections, “First White of Winter Poems” and “Poems From Inside Me” onto the Amazon Kindle store as ebooks for just 99 cents! If you don’t have a Kindle device, it is super easy to download the app for tablet or smart phone and do a search for my titles. I also have two other books, “Through The Withering Storm” my story of surviving mental illness and “Green Mountain Road and Selected Stories” a fiction collection in the same place, also just 99 cents each. Thanks for reading!

Poems From Inside Me
PoesíaThis is a chapbook of poetry that led me to dedicate myself to writing, whether it be for money or simply to express myself. In this book I talk about family, love, loss and all the illusions that life brings us through.
