I felt myself begin to wake up but couldn't force my eyes open. I knew I was in someone's arms and my only guess to who it was was Luke. He only confirmed my suspicions when he spoke.

"I can't do it Cal, I can't let her go."

Calum sighed.

"You have to give her time, Luke. She needs it. You need it."

"I can't," he croaked. "I can't live without her."

Calum sighed again heavier.

"You won't be without her, Luke. She'll be on the rest of this tour. Besides, I'm sure she'll come back to you soon."

Luke's lips brushed my forehead lightly.

"I won't be able to do anything with her. I can't cuddle her. I can't kiss her. I sure as hell can't fuck her."

"Lucas," Rachel called out. "I heard that."

Calum laughed at the mini scolding.

"Control your damn girlfriend," Luke muttered.

"She can't be tamed," Calum laughed.

Silence fell over the two of them for awhile.

"You really love her, don't you?"

Luke sighed quietly.

"Unfortunately yes."

"Why is that unfortunate," Calum asked hesitantly.

"We're both walking disasters," he softly mumbled.

I could feel Calum's presence as he sat down beside Luke.

"You aren't walking disasters, Luke. You're both humans. You've faced some hard times and are now just trying to recover. Rachel told me about what Hadley's been trying to overcome. I've told Hadley about you. She'll tell you when she's ready. But right now, she needs to get away. I can tell you that one of the things holding her back was Mia. But since she's taken care of, maybe Hadley will open up to you more."

Luke rested his head on top of mine.

"Cal, what did you guys do to her?"

"The bitch learned her lesson," Calum laughed. "She won't be near either of you probably ever again."

"Calum?"

"Yes?"

"What the hell did you do?"

"That's for us to know," Calum whispered evilly. "And you to not."

Luke laughed at him lightly.

"You're such a fucking moron I swear."

"It's better than being just a moron."

"Why are we friends?"

"I don't know."

I could feel their eyes on me.

"But you probably have a reason for falling in love with Hadley."

"She's like a drug," I could tell Luke was smiling. "A good one. She's saving me."

"You're saving her," Calum replied.

Luke sighed.

"I can't be if she broke up with me."

"Luke, she doesn't need a relationship right now, she needs a friendship. She needs someone that's there for her but can do without the cuddling. Okay, she'll probably still want to cuddle. But she's hiding her problems from you, so once she lets them out, speak to her like a friend, not a boyfriend."

"You know how she hates Romeo and Juliet," Luke spoke quietly.

"Yeah," Calum questioned back.

"What if we are like them, but instead of tragedy, it ends well."

Calum rested his hand on Luke's shoulder, his fingers grazing my own.

"I don't want to foreshadow this or anything but I don't think you guys could get any worse. The only way you're going is up."

"Thanks man."

"No problem. Now you should probably put her in her bunk, I don't want to know what she'd do to you if she woke up like this."

I'd probably kiss Luke, that's what I'd do.

Luke sighed.

"Yeah, I guess," he muttered.

He got up from the couch and walked sideways to the bunk area. He set me down in my bunk and kissed my forehead, gently moving hair out of my face.

"I love you Hadley," he whispered to me.

He began to move away.

"I love you too, Luke," I managed back.
