A red haired girl slowly walked to a stage with hands,feet and neck chained. Her back slightly slouched and her head down her dull emerald eyes looking down not wanting to make any eye contact with the crowd. As she stood there she felt a weird feeling down in her gut that they weren't human. Those masked faces add up to the mystery making the more unhuman.
"Starting at One Million!"
A mysterious man appearing of nowhere announced officially starting the auction
"One million and a half!"
A voice in the crowd says
"Two million!"
Her rarity made the crowd go all in with the bidding, yet she couldn't understand why..The crowd knew something about her that she didnt even knew about.
"Five Million"
A calm voice announced bringing the bidding to an end. The red head girl still has her head down and her eyes stuck at the floor. Her eyes looked up to the man who has just bought her, a simple glimpse of curiosity.
The man walked to the stage shoes clicking behind him as whispers filled the air about him,
"Why is he here?"
"Is that really him?"
"Who is he anyway?"
His horns visibly out and a red cloth drape on his face. The whispers didn't really bothered him, all that mattered to him was that he had won the auction.
Wanting to claim the girl he had just bought. They went back stage and into a lobby to with two men guiding them,as they arrived at the lobby he removes the cloth that covered his face revealing a very intimidating man . His face was made of bones and his eyes glowed an anonymous red,he somehow resembled a grim repear in fairy tales. But they didn't seem to be bothered by it.
They sat down to discuss the payment. Except for the red haired girl who chose to stand in the corner of the room.
"Thank you for your kind payment sir" the young man says with a kind smile ." But I have to be honest ,I certainly didn't expected you to come" he continues
The silence had lingered but it doesn't seem to bother the anyone in the room.
"May I borrow your lobby?"
The man just smiled agreeing with his request leaving the room with the other young man who have just guided them earlier
The red head girl just stood in the corner in silence. The man stands up and walks up to her yanking her chain by the neck
"Eyes up and back straight , got it? I wouldn't want my apprentice lacking confidence" he says with a gentle,kind,comforting voice
She was caught up in surprise by the sudden yank but she nods anyways. His voice made her anxiousness go away, just a little bit.
"What is your name?" He asks with the same comforting voice
She whimpers at the sudden voice but she tries to answer in calmly "Chise, Hatori Chise sir!" Her shoulder were tense as she was trying not to stutter
"I am Elias Ainsworth" he introduces himself.Suddenly he pulls her closer and she can't help but blush on how close they were
"Now come , Close your eyes as you might get dizzy"
Chise closes her eyes and Elias starts chanting as thorns rises from the ground .
"You may open your eyes now " Elias states and as Chise opens her eyes she sees a cozy house with a beautiful field yet she couldn't see any neighbors. She felt a but happy as she was thinking it was her new home but once again the negativity consumed her happy thoughts again. She snaps back to reality
"I'm glad we made it in just one leap"
