Chapter 46

Jen's Pov:

I sit their shocked.

"Oh my god, I'm so happy for you two!" I croak.

"I really am I'm just exhausted and drained so I'm croaking" I explain with a giggle.

"Oh thank god, we were worried you wouldn't approve" Sam says.

I notice he's using hand gestures which seemed odd at first but I realized it was most likely normal to him, he just his it.

"Of course I do!" I croak out again.

I should've realized it; Sam and Liam were always together, Sam was always at Liam's house, looking back I should've known.

"As soon as I'm feeling better I'm taking you two out to celebrate" I say smiling.

"Thanks Jen" Liam says.

"Yes, thank you" Sam repeats, his eyes start to tear up, I also realize why Sam could be so dramatic sometimes.

I nod as if to say no problem.

When we park in my driveway I'm looking for Josh's car, but I don't see it.

I figure it must be a surprise but when I walk in theirs no one.

I sigh and Sam and Liam come to comfort me.

"It'll be okay" Liam tells me.

"Yeah, it's just been a long day, lets get you to bed" Sam says.

The two of them are like angels. Liam helped me brush my teeth, combed my hair, and get into my pajamas. Sam made my bed ready, set up baby monitors in case I need them, and a glass of water in case I get thirsty.

"Goodnight guys" I croak as they tiptoe out.

I stare at the blank ceiling and wander where Josh is right now.

I sigh.

I need him.
