Chapter 3: Scandels

Jen's POV:

My eyes flutter open. I'm in bed somewhere.

I look down and notice I'm naked and that theirs a body next to me.

I gasp when I notice who the body belongs to.

Laying next to me is a sleeping Josh Hutcherson....also naked.

I scream and he sits up.

"J-j-Jen is that you?" Josh asks, his voice raspy.

I cover my body with the sheets as he rubs his eyes. Once he removes his hands and sees us his eyes widen.

"W-w-what did we do last night?" He asks softly.

"I d-d-don't know," I reply.

We both sit their in shock.

"Lets just pretend this never happened," I say.

Josh nods.

"Look away for a second," I tell him.

Josh turns away and I quickly change into my dress.

"Okay, I'll be in the living room," I tell him awkwardly leaving.

As I enter the room I nervously serve myself a bowl of cereal and take a seat on the couch. I then turn on E! News.

"Now on E! News. You all know that one of Hollywoods most popular couples, Jen and Nicholas got into a big fight and are on a break, but what about Josh and Claudia? Does Nicholas and Claudia know about Jen and Josh's affair?"

I groan as Josh enters.

"Are you okay?" Josh asks sitting next to me.

I don't have a chance to reply as E! News returns.

"It looks like things got hot between Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson at the start of Catching Fire Party. The pair was seen leaving together and entering a hotel. The pair is still in the hotel as we speak. Is Joshifer coming true? What about Nicholas and Claudia? More updates as the story unfolds."

Josh and I exchange glances. We both know this isn't good and even though we agreed we would pretend nothing happened, we know we can't anymore.

"I'm almost afraid to check my phone," I admit to josh.

Slowly I pull out my iPhone and check my messages and emails.

Theirs messages from Nicholas and my manager Amy.

Suddenly I get a call from the producers of Catching Fire and Josh and I freeze.

"H-h-hello?" I answer my voice shaking.

"Jennifer, what the hell is going on?!?!" The producer, Tasha, shouts at me.

"Don't blame us we were drunk," Josh says softly.

"....So it is true," Tasha says softly.

"Yeah...," I tell her.

Tasha sighs.

"Look...are you two..?" She asks.

"NO!" Josh and I both say.

"Okay, then fix this!" Tasha says then hangs up.

Josh and I stare at each other.

"We should check out," Josh suggests.

"Yeah," I agree.

We walk around gathering our things. We are in such a rush that we both make a sharp turn, and our lips accidentally touch.

I'm taken aback but I can't help but feel pleasure from it. His lips are soft but rough with texture.

I pull back and we both just look away.

"Lets just pretend nothing happened," I say snapping back to reality.
