I ask myself why did I do it.
Why I tried to kill Tennis Ball.
It dawned on me after a couple hours of thinking.I remember getting mad.
When I found out his secret.
He says it'll only ruin my reputation more if I kept arguing with him. But I didn't give up.
But he broke the last straw when I was suddenly the target. I stopped bothering him, let him do whatever he wanted.I keep getting whispers in my head. Saying that I should tell everyone.
But again, he'll just... he'll..
Anyways.I tried to kill him. It's true, I think he knows by now.
But why?
'Was it out of ignorance?' Objects ask.
'Was it out of anger?'
'Is she the murderer?'No.
I've been innocent this whole dang time. And I admit, I shouldn't have tried to kill him.
But that urge.
That urge I get after having to deal with him.
The urge I get from watching him lie and pretend to be innocent. The urge I get from watching him try to kill his own best friend.
It's unbearable.
???
I looked back on some memories from all of this havoc and I find regret.
A lot of it.
Hesitation from a few weeks ago.
For example."Why are you so quiet?" I glanced at GB.
She kept her face down, eyes narrowing.
"...Its just mandatory."
I just nodded, doing the same.
I slowed down my pace, pulling out a knife.
Covered it in Yoyleberry juice. For the Ruby kind of vibe.
I aimed and gulped, hesitating, before throwing it.Time seemed to slow down as I regretted my decision.
I tackled her, so we both fell down onto the concrete."What the heck?!" GB coughed, sitting up.
I was petrified by then.
"I.. I uh-"
"What?!"
"There was something coming at you, I had to do something!" I reasoned, remembering how my eyes widened in pure guilt and 'innocence'.
"Who the hell would do that when we're out here?! Was it the murderer?!" GB screamed.
"I don't know.." I looked at the ground. I noticed something grey in the distance, from where GB was standing.I was caught red-handed.
By Ruby.
