Chapter 30

Brendon's POV

Ok, I'm officially freaking out. I'm pacing around the living room while Kendall sits on the couch waiting for the next contraction to come. Why didn't anyone tell me having a child would be so stressful!

"Aw!" I hear Kendall yell and I run to her side.

"Are they really that bad?" I asked.

"I'm in the process of pushing a child out of me, yes, they're that bad!" She said back and I couldn't help but smile.

"How far apart are they?" I asked.

"About 30 minutes, we still have time before we should leave." She said.

"If you say so." I said.

After some time, Kendall grabbed my hand and clenched her face.

"Are you sure we shouldn't leave." they're only 20 minutes apart now." I said.

"Maybe we should." She said and struggled to get up.

I helped her stand and we made our way to the car.

Once I had got her in the car she began to scream in pain.

"I can't stand seeing you this way." I said and got in the drivers seat.

"It's worth it." She said and let out a smile.

Kendall's POV

I knew labor was painful, but this is torture, how big is this child!

I was lying down in the back seat and Brendon was driving.

I suddenly felt another contraction and let out a good scream.

"Please hurry." I said and looked over to Brendon.

"We're almost there." He said.

And we were, within 5 minutes we pulled into the hospital.

Brendon opened the back door and helped me get out.

Once stood up I squeezed his hand at the pain of yet another contraction, I refused to scream this time.

Brendon's POV

We got into the hospital and a nurse noticed what was happening and we were rushed into a room.

Kendall changed into a hospital robe and lied down in the bed.

The doctor soon walked in and I walked over to Kendall's side.

"Ok, first, about how far apart the the contractions now?" The doctor asked us.

"Right now only about 5 minutes." Kendall replied.

"Oh! Well looks like you got here just in time." He said.

The doctor walked over to us and felt around Kendall's stomach. A look of concern came over his face.

"What's wrong?" I asked looking worried.

"I believe the baby's breached. It's not in position for normal child birth. I'm afraid you need to get a c-section." The doctor said to us. I looked over to Kendall and she was in total shock. Then she shot out of it.

"Whatever needs to be done." She said.

She was soon wheeled into a different room.

I followed in but was soon approached by the doctor.

"I'm sorry, but you can be in here for the procedure." He said to me.

"No! He has to stay! This is his child too!" Kendall said from the bed.

"You can stay as we put her under anesthesia, but you have to leave immidiently after." He said.

I walked over to Kendall as they out the mask on her face.

She grabbed my hand and I could see her eyes begin to droop.

"I love you." She mouthed as her eyes fully closed.

Ha! I tricked you! I bet you thought they were actually going to have a baby this chapter.

Anyways, I'm so happy this story is doing well. It's just cool to think that this started with 0 reads and now it has 2k!
